AMMA PARK - Park in Chennai - Chennai, India

My friend recommended Amma Park to me. I spent a lot of money to play on a football turf, but inside Amma Park, they have a free football turf. This is really useful for football players. I hope the government will construct more free football turfs."

Very nice park in midst of a busy area. We have play area for kids, beautifully maintained gardens, fountain, Fitness equipments, a hut for doing meditation, skating area for kids, 8 shaped walking path made of pebbles, well maintained football ground with green grass, badminton courts. Rustling sound that comes from the bamboo trees, gentle breeze from the shady trees are calming and relaxing. Football ground is stunning, very well maintained. Kudos to government and public who helps in maintaining it. Bike parking is available, but car parking is not there. It is a busy road, so commuting in car to this place will not be convenient. Children play area could be maintained better. There is not enough level of sand available in the play area. So there are possibilities kids may get hurt if they fell down. Quite a lot of equipments are damaged. I expect it will be taken care at the earliest.

It is located in the main area. Place maintenance by corporation and water facilities also there. It located near by the bus stop. Place is not clean and hygiene. Not recommended for children to play there. Because mosquito problems is there. It may cause disease. Nearby snacks shopa also available. Easy accessable place. Parking facilities also there. It has big area to play. Many trees and plants are there.

Best for kids, small size but ok. Have space for doing exercise and morning walk. Some equipments also available which helps people to do some specific exercise. The recently built footbal court is quit good and attractive. I always used to go with my kids. Highly recommend to visit with kids.

Almost a neat experience, but have to maintain the timingels and try to block the trespassers , one of the good govt turf in chennai

Great place for morning walk. You can find people from all ages from 2 years to 90 years. Amazing experience with plenty of natural oxygen from plants and tree. You will feel refreshing. Also this is a ideal place to even practice yoga and meditation.

Good place to take kids out They have proper play ground for football also

I have goes to this park last week with my child. Park is very maintained and good entertainment for kids and walking area also available for senior citizen.
