Amma Mess House - Seafood restaurant in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

Tried meals with Ayakoora Fry, My personal rating is 3/5. Charge for fish fry is too high comparing to the size. Would be fine if the price was 100 instead of 170/-. Service is good, decent seating space.

Went to have lunch at the famous Amma mess house today... it is a small restaurant with limited seating (abt 40-50). Meals cost around 60rps but the fish is expensive. We had aikura (1 piece-150rps) and chembelli (150rps). The chembelli is large but the aikura piece is small. Parking for bikes are in the front while parking for cars is at a small parking ground left of the restaurant. Overall the food was great and service was friendly.

Excellent food with fine ambience and service. A popular place among localites. Whenever i ask someone where do we get decent food they all suggest this place. Also worth the hype. Did not dissapoint. Sunday is a holiday. Rest all days they work during day time. Will try again if possible. And recommended atleast one time visit. Ample parking space available. Only drawback i felt is the road to amma is a little congested towards the end. Food 5/5 Seating 4/5 Ambience 4/5 Service 4/5

The red snapper fish was excellent. It is simply to delicious to describe in words. The service was also really good. The rice was excellent. I gobbled it up.

Felt quality like homely food. The rice can be improved for the price because the rice Litt bit nutty. The fish fries are good . And the violet colour mango pickle impressed me.
