Worst ever restaurant in Thirukadayur. The manager who wears specs is the worst person I have seen. He has no respect for guests and kept forcing us to finish off a soon as possible. Whatever we booked for in the menu was not available or was spoilt. None cared about serving he guests and the food was of worst quality. Please never consider this restaurant. Instead consider other restaurants nearby. Worst service worst staff worst food. Too much expensive. Worst experience overall.
Our group had booked dinner for thirty people at the hotel reception and they acknowledged the booking. Upon arrival, they said there's no food available and very rudely asked us to leave the premises. The guests were staying in the same hotel too. The restaurant staff were very impolite and rude. Poor co-ordination and organisation by the management of the hotel and restaurant.
Visited this place for lunch during temple visit in and around that area. It's located inside Kanagabishekam Hotel. They serve only unlimited veg meals for lunch. The quality and taste of those dishes were good. Meals included - rice, dhal, sambar, rasam, vatthakulambu (too good), Moore, three types of veg sides -potato kootu, cabbage poriyal, pumpkin kootu ,( varies everyday) appalam. Curd is chargeable. Desserts - they served payasam & Ashoka halwa. The place was calm not much crowded during our time of visit, neatly maintained. Noticed they have hung huge painting works of Ilayaraja (known for realistic oil paintings). Staffs were very attentive and courteous. Worth for money.
There is nothing except meals in this restaurant for lunch. Secondly if you want to eat properly reach the restaurant by 12pm, else you would not get any kootu or poriyal. Poor service and coos food
Located right near the temple entrance, Amirtham restaurant serves South Indian cuisine. We had the veg meals here. The food was very tasty. The service could be improved as many tables were not cleaned for a long time. Parking and toilet facilities are available here.

Amazing food! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place and it was all good. Despite being not too expensive, they offer a premium service and delicious South Indian food.

You can get very good and tasty South Indian food and coffee. Love the rava dosa and parota kurma with coffee. Location very close to temple place can be kept more clean and kitchen as well.
Food was normal but we had worst experience with restrooms, cleanliness 0%. They should clean the restrooms properly and should have separate restrooms for men/women.

The stay was great. The beds were comfortable, and any problems were promptly solved by the staff. The AC rooms were a must in the hot weather. Great experience, and I would really recommend it for anyone looking to stay with family.

A small but very good and historical tea stall. Only three tables to seat. The tea was precisely made to right combination. A snack also available as sidedish. Road side parking available. It was crowded when we visit last time.
