Aminia Restaurant - Biryani restaurant in Siliguri - Jalpaiguri, India

One of the best places to have biriyani in Siliguri. We ordered Mutton biryani, Chicken Tandoori, Butter Naan, Mutton Kosha, Lahori Aloo, Jeera Rice, Virgin Mojito, Nalen Gur Icecream. First the mutton biryani was awesome with very soft tender mutton, after all aminia is famous for this. The mutton kosha was ok but the pieces were not as tender as of the biriyani. The Tandoori chicken was really good and flavourful. Lastly the icecream was delicious . Overall a great experience.

Decent food. Good ambience. Lovely staff. We had Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Mutton Special Biriyani, Chicken Chaap, Watermelon Cucumber Mojito, Masala Soda, Firni, and Shahi Firni. Not to forget that everything came with great portions that we had to pack home some of the items. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the taste and ambience compensate for that. Everything was great, except the Aloo in the biriyani. It was burnt to an extent. Rest, the kebab was scrumptious, with refreshing coolers. Not to forget the flavourful chicken chap, followed by Firni (Pro-tip: Don't order Shahi Firni, but go ahead with the normal one). Biriyani, I felt could be a bit better. Overall, a good experience.

The food was great. Service was great. All different kinds of starters including chicken reshmi kebab and chicken wings were absolutely delicious. This place is great for non vegetarians. The only thing lacking in taste was paneer tikka. Other than that everything was tasty and worth the money. Would recommend this place to all non vegetarian lovers.

One of the most famous biryani joint. Not only biryani you can find different types of mughlai items as well. Ambience, service was on point. Now coming to the taste of food which I ordered was mouth watering. Definitely gonna visit again soon. Recommended!

I ate in Aminia before in kolkata, and I found no difference between the taste, its exactly the same. Food quality is very good, and the ambiance is awesome. They've served very fas and well. Food quality is very good. Price range is also fine. For the Biriyani lovers in Siliguri, it's definitely a good place. Please note that Taste of biriyani varies people to people. For me I like a bit spicy Biriyani and Aminia's is a bit light. But not to worry, you'll definitely love the taste and the feel. There are few good places in Siliguri for the Biriyani lovers, and Amina is surely one of them. We've took, Mutton Biriyani, Lahori Chicken ( side dish, whic was very good), Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken Reshmi kebab. All of those were very good, and as for the price range it's good. But for me personally I'll choose the Biryani from Zaika over this one. As for the experience information I've tasted almost all the famous Biriyani from different places in Kolkata. ( Like Dada Boudi, paradise, Arselan, aminia, Karims etc.) Overall for me Food quality is 4/5, and ambiance is 4.5 /5.

Aminia is seriously a lovely place to visit for me especially as I stay busy with my work till 10 at night. Most of restaurant closes by 10/10:30 pm but this restaurant opens upto 11:30 pm. And if about dishes they serve amazing biriyani,kebabs and also my favourite veg dishes like mix veg,paneer items with kulcha. Seriously tastier dishes. Highly recommended

Nice ambience, traditional interior design which was elegant, service was fast and good. Employee behaviour was also good. Traditional Indian cuisine in menu. However food was quite average I don't know maybe because it's still new perhaps will try again in few days and update.
