American Fried Chicken - Fast food restaurant in Gorakhpur - Gorakhpur, India

I tried this famous joint, the prices were economical, the ambience was decent and the food tasted great. But the behavior of the staff wasn't welcoming.

I would say that if you are visiting Gorakhpur or live here then you should definitely visit this place at evening time and try the chicken tower burger with a cold drink. They serve halal chicken. This outlet is certified by the government. They have very reasonable prices on all of their food items ,So it is a very good place for students to hangout and spend some quality time.

Getting to the point! The AFC is really better than what you expect from a local brand. The place is located on a very busy road so its very easy to identify it from vehicles distinctly. The place rather small and cannot host more than 8-8 groups of 4 people at once. The seating is arguably comfortable and the table space is enough for 4 people. The air conditioning in the place is not really well ruglated. You will feel the hotness once you start eating and may even break sweat. Coming to the food. The food tastea good. We ordered A chicken bucket, chicken burger and french fries. The chicken was really crispy on the outside but the inside was a little too hard to grab a bite from. And the deeper you went you will feel the flavour fading. The burgers were good but they did not even heat or grill the buns that was a little disappointing. The french fries were good. Over all the food is good-ish and its fun if you are in a group of many people.

Didn't go in here expecting much. The shop is not at a very popular location, but the quality is top notch and the food is brilliant. It's also affordable. I had their AFC Chicken Bucket Meal 1, and it gave me 4 pieces of Crispy Fried Chicken, 4 pieces of Hot Wings, 1 French Fries and a 600ml Thums Up bottle. All of this for Rs450, inclusive of tax. A+

Good place to hang out. But the service speed is very slow. They make you wait for your order for too long. Food is nice. Weekly discounts are also available. Offers on food items are always available. Pricing is a bit expensive. Pest repellant is unavailable so mosquitos disturb you even inside the restaurant. Too many mosquitos.
