I used to frequent this restaurant on a weekly basis, without fail. When it comes to taste, it is unparalleled, especially for their biryani. I have savored almost every dish on their menu, from delectable biryanis to Chettinad Special.
Very pleasant atmosphere. The taste of the biryani is spot on! Plenty pieces of meat given quite liberally with each order of biriyani You can have a good time and stay for as long as you want, as the staff doesn't shoo you away for sitting too long. Very well mannered waiters and managers. Had a great time!
We went around 12:15 pm and we were the first person for the day. We ordered Mutton Soup, Mutton Biryani and fish fry. Very excited and waiting for the fresh biriyani. The person who took the order was very professional and friendly. When we inquired we came to know that this is not a direct store and this is a franchise of Star biriyani and they follow up certain standards. We received the soup first and it tasted good. When we received the Biriyani we were totally disappointed. It was not a fresh biriyani and not that hot. The taste was totally different from the other STAR BIRIYANI. The fish fry was really good and we loved it.
The taste that we ate everything is good but in mutton biryani salt was extra but no problem we always use less salt
Ordered for mutton Briyani and prawns gravy ! Pieces was 4 but full of bone piece, little bit rice quality was thick ! Taste was good could have been better as other outlet ! Cleaniness was maintained staffs suggested for choices well maintained .
Ambience is good. Service could be better. Mutton biryani taste is okay. Quantity is less. Price is little expensive. Prawn thokku was not tasty. Service was fast.

If ur tastes Star Biryani in Chennai and want to taste same in pondicherry then definitely u won't get it . Next time u won't go to restaurant. Brinjal gravy smell like expired . I don't know whether they really giving good food to people ... Don't try . We love Star Biryani but this time I am fully unsatisfied let see next time .

Awesome briyani with less masala... fish fingers are great...chicken wings and chicken 65 are crispy and tasty.. It's a bit spicy so kids may not like it.... For a lesser price this is a jackpot... Go for it....
Best parotta and coconut Salna. Mouth watering. Brings back memories from childhood. I would wait for the day when my mum would give me 5 rupees to eat two parottas with salna and have heart burn the rest of the day. Simply the best.
This place is good to try the authentic taste of Pondicherry wood fired pizza. I ordered small chicken tikka and onion pizza. But the size was similar to any of Domino's medium pizza. The taste was awesome. The crust was crunchy. Loved it! Do try!
