Ambulor Lake - Lake in Verna - default, India

This is seasonal lake - during rainy season it's gates are open and after the rain these are placed to store water percolating from the hill around. This water is available for winter crop and fish seeds are put in it so sweat water fish is available when the barrier is lowered

Udear Natural Spring is located at Verna in south Goa few meters away from Ambulor Lake which is also a beautiful scenic location for a day outing and fishing as we saw lot of pearl spot fishes in the lake but unfortunately dint carry our fishing gears to catch them. A very good place to go during Rainy as its dries during Summer. You can have bath at this spring during rainy season as the waterfall is very clean and clear with calm and peaceful surrounding full of lush green trees.

The lake is not anymore lake.. This place totally converted into grass and paddy field.. However the view is quiet nice and soothing. Little effort may change this place into best evening spending time location.

Less known Lake, picturesque and flock of birds over a lake can be seen. It is located just in a few kilometers off from Verna Highway. If you are birds lover than you should give a visit. Know more about it on Golden Goa App, Explore Local Goa.

It's a normal in between the market, dont go specifically to visit this, as if you will go to Flamingos it comes on way only, so go and plan for Flamingos and you can see this lake as well while returning.

The lake has been converted a paddy field.
