During night time, good to have frequent police rounds, minimum one police in this place to Poonamallee bye pass bus stop to feel safety for ladies or gents. Always looks dark (with no much light walking persons), feel unsafe and scary, especially for ladies.

Situated at a gateway to Chennai- One of the busiest throughfares around the city. High risk area with whizzing buses which halt momentarily for the alighting passengers. Not well-lit at night. So a word of caution: Please be extra careful if you need to cross the road

People don't attempt to cross road at this junction. I mean people who get down in bye pass from bus towards Chennai. Really dangerous as vehicles will come in hispeed. Don't take risk. There should be a footoot over bridge here.

This is easly identical land mark for who all are travelling to Bangalore, vellore and other near by area. But the place doesn't have proper bus station. The people used to stand out site during raining and hot season. Also they need have more stops to avoid traffics. Because this area getting traffic only because of the buses which going towards vellore. Government should look and have some safty for travellers.

Easily notable landmark for travellers getting down at Poonamalle highway. And public transport(local bus) bus stand is half a kilometer away. So don't get cheated by auto drivers(especially new people)

Busses to Kanchipuram, Cheiarr, Vellore have a stop here. If you want take government busses to the above cities you can. It also has food shops around so no problem.
