Nature's gift. Very beautiful and peaceful place with paddy field on both sides of the road. We can spend our evenings with our friends and family and the sunset is very special. Now in this March April time the padfy fields also looks very great and beautiful. Lot of people are coming there in the evening to enjoy.

A fine way to spend an evening at Kottayam. But if you need to see the flowers, visit during early morning. The entire area is filled with water lilies and when it bloom, it will be a a breathtaking experience.

Just a casual place to go and see ambal poo. Be there around 6:30 in the morning to get the best view or else it's get hot. People go there for photoshoots and stuff. Local people provide boat services.

Visit the place in season, you can see hectares of water lilly(ambal).Now its a good time to visit. Only in the morning you can see the flowers, so should visit before 10 am. Best time: 7 am to 8 am. The place is nearby Panachikkadu temple and Puthupally Church, lets pray and enjoy the nature.

This is a place, just 4.5 kms (approx) from Puthupally junction. Speciality is nothing but a road with paddy fields on both sides. It gets more beautiful during these months. Now insted of paddy, its waterlily all over there and literally it's just mind-blowing, it's a serene atmosphere with beautiful flowers spread across.

It was 3 years of desire to go to this place after seeing many Instagram posts and wedding photography in the lily field. Each year due to some reason it got delayed, it was almost like I was about to miss out 2020 too due to covid. When I browsed they had mentioned that malarikal is not open for tourism and then I came across this place. Ambattukadavu is in kottayam district. We started in the early morning itself from kochi. The flowers blossom at night and stands tall until sunrise so one should should be in the place between 6-8 am in the morning to see the water lily. It was literally heaven on earth feel to see the pink water lilies spread over acres of paddy field. The wait for years was truly worth the soulful sight of water lilies.
