It's awesome place to do trekking and mountain climbing and we did and we enjoy a lots. Temple priest and staff are very helpful, yuppie wanna go again
It is not a sanctuary . very hot and not a nice place for picnics.Only good thing is Budharaja temple where devotees come every Tuesday and Saturday. The real name is Ampani and not Ambapani . It's surrounding areas are karak waterfall around 3kms from Ampani inside forest to be travelled in rough road and the famous dokrichachra around 25kms are beautiful places . It's difficult to travel to karak in rainy season but Dokrichachra have a all weather road . The village Ampani is a stop point while travelling from Bhawanipatna and Jeypore through NH 26 with so many roadside eateries . Ghat road is in between Ampani and Maidalpur (16 km) popularly known as Ampani ghati is famous for organic mushrooms in rainy season and ebony (kendu) in summer . Sometimes travelling through this jungle road bring out security concerns however police force are available for help .
Awesome forest spot. Loved it. Must visit
Beautiful place to explore especially in winter... The place needs little upgradation to be tourist hot-spot in Nabarangpur
The Road Quality is Best but while in U-turning or S- Turning the government should fix a 3600 Mirror.
