Amazonika Boutique Resort - Resort hotel in Arpora - default, India

Terrible experience! On the pictures, the place looks amazing, very clean, very well maintained. But it is NOT!! We stay there 3 nights with 3 rooms, the rooms was not clean, pillow was dirty, no hot water in the bathroom, we have to ask to have buckets of hot water. The pool was under renovation, so the place was noisy with people who was working until 11 pm. and we didn't used the pool. No card machine, they were supposed to get the machine the next day of our check in, it never came. They said it is bank problem. The resort never send an mail before our arrival to explain the renovation in process or the hot water problem. Even at the check-in, no one told us. It is when we enter the rooms that we come to know. The resort is NOT maintained, furniture are getting old, water infiltration mark, mold on the curtains and pillows. The manager/ owner behavior is not good. Don't stop at this place, no Good Goa vibes there.

Almost ruined our holiday trip We had to change the place because this place doesn't give you comfort or ease rather gives you bees, lizards and smelly bed sheet Bathroom stinks like hell and if you are booking this place make sure you keep a portable fan with you because AC doesn't work and also make sure you keep a portable chair with you as well because the room key doesn't work so for how long you'll stand outside the room obviously you need to sit somewhere to wait AND the story doesn't end here, MOST IMPORTANT the staff, Especially the manager and the owner itself extremely rude they def need to learn the basics of hospitality. Anyways thank me later

Terrible Experience! You'll should change the name of the hotel to Amazon forest resort because it has lots of bugs, frogs, lizards, flies, insects, etc. we booked rooms on the first floor but they gave us rooms on the fourth floor (very bad leg workout) The rooms had foul smell, the bathrooms were stinking. We had to get our own room freshener just to get rid of the smell. We forcefully passed the night, and when we were checking out early the women at the reception asked us for more money just to early checkout. There were a lot of miscommunication between the staff which ruined 2 days of our entire trip. If any of my friends wants to know how disgusting and pathetic a hotel can be I will tell your hotels story.

This property is 4 star in papers but actually this is not be 2 star. I stay 4 night and 5 days in this property no hot water facility in rooms, we have to request them for hot water service daily. They serve only one two items as breakfast and serves very slowly... If you say anything they can not serve. They also not maintain swimming pool and only free channels available in T.V. they also not maintain proper washroom cleaning facilities and furniture also not in good condition. And staff behaviour is not so good.

Worst experience ever. Even people who are giving a good review to this place are lying. We spent so much money and yet we didn't have a good time. Bedsheets not clean, lizards in the room. No good view. I won't recommend this place to anyone. We had to book another hotel after this and lost all are money in this place also. They had the audacity to ask for more money due to early check out. Very annoyed with this place.

Limited breakfast options, and that too will be made only on demand... Room service not ensured daily.... No locks on sliding doors.... Any one could easily barge into our room..... It was like climbing some mountains where the hotel is...

It's been delightful staying at the hotel so far, the service is good and the staff is also friendly. The rooms are in good condition and there's regular room service. Overall, fantastic place to have a good time in goa at a good price.

This is the worst place in GOA where I've ever stayed (visited GOA for 4 time). Don't stay in Amazonica because: 1) Breakfast is very pure - boiled eggs, bread, jam and sometimes butter. 2) Service - the only guy who really works is a doorman. He helped with luggage. All other staff is passive (receptionists, administrators, cooks). Looks like management doesn't know that service is important for clients who paid them for room. No cleaning at all (even keeping in mind that it is India). Also we had weird questions from receiption like " are you sure that you did payment?" "How much you paid?" Also during our check-out they tried to charge WATER that my wife took for me when I got problems with stomach. Finally left us because the don't have change :)) The only this I liked there - it's far from road and it's quite.
