Scenic and a lovely weekend family trip. Needs a Trek ok 4-5 km to reach but pleasant plain walk. New road from Saedganj takes you within 4 km of the fall. You can park your car at the tea stall there. The new road is not yet marked on Google maps but after reaching Saedganj it's easy to get. This route is a easy 40 min Trek even in heavy rains, which is most fun.
Nice place. Carry enough water n food to trek 8km to and fro approx 1.30 hrs one way trekking. Ensure you follow the same route while going back or you will be lost in jungle. There is no guide or tour operator to help. No mobile signal. Cover your track in day light as wild animals like tiger n bear roam during night hours.
Amargarh waterfall, often referred to as the "Milk Waterfalls," is a truly captivating sight and a paradise for adventure enthusiasts. If you have a penchant for adventure, this route could offer you an exhilarating experience, making your heart leap with joy. The adventure trek is extensive, approximately 6-7 km long, and is packed with excitement as you traverse through jungles, rivers, and muddy paths, immersing yourself in nature's beauty. As you approach the waterfalls, a magical transformation takes place - all your fatigue seems to vanish. You can sit by the waterfalls for hours, feeling the soothing mist against your skin. If you choose to travel by jeep, you can even bring a stove along and enjoy a delightful picnic amidst this scenic wonder. I visited during the monsoon season, and I must say, experiencing the waterfalls in full flow during this time was truly magical.
Fully adventures place. 7kms tracking in chikhal and so many beautiful views and all the things. Take some snacks and water with you keep an eye on day light if its gonna night you can lost in the forest. No wild animals there but still its scary and lovely for adventure lover. Keep distance from the deep places near the fall and don't take soaps and all other in the fresh water.
An amazing experience I had... While trekking it was raining .. trek was difficult but adventurous at the same time. Although we were late bcz we got lost took a different path and explored a completely different waterfall. Two waterfall at the same time..
It's a nice place for tracking during the rainy season but try to avoid going there in heavy rainfall because there is no way to get a vehicle in there as the track is very slippery because the back soil is wet and mushy(it gets muddy and you need to walk barefoot as the mud get super sticky and slows down your pace), you need walk at a faster pace and try to avoid start your track after 11 pm I would recommend you to have a really big company (10-20 people) and they should have the courage to walk around for 2 hours to reach there and 2 gets back ( add 1hr for having food, rest and dipping the water near the fall ) it will take 5 or 7 Hours (if choose to have more rest or to enjoy the waterfalls) choose your time wisely, I would recommend you to start your track at 6,7 or 8 am which would give you ample time to enjoy the nature. (Please try to get back before it gets dark)
An awesome location near Bhopal. From the last village you have to trek for 6-7kms in Mud and cross rivers if you're visiting during monsoon. Just make sure you don't visit in heavy rainfall as rivers overflow and is impossible to cross them ! The location is marked on Google maps so you can easily follow the direction and or the trail.
Amazing place. Although you have to walk around 6 kms. to reach the waterfall but it is worth to travel 6 km. We also discovered a small waterfall above the mountain.
