Ruins of Buddhist stupa which was very huge in size.built around 2000 years ago initially with further additions .now only remain platform of bricks and surrounded by stone blocks which was used to built stupa and relief panel which was used to decorate this stupa.most of relief panels ,statue and other archaeological objects belong to this stupa which was discovered during phases of excavation by British people and Indian govt.most of them are kept at ASI museum which is situated near to this stupa and some are kept at various museums in India and in Britain also.A ticket of 5 rs is charged to enter stupa.This maja chaitya is located in ancient Amravati village which is around 50 km from Vijaywada ,you can take local bus 301 from Vijaywada bus stand.
Great place for peace lovers. Not much to explore other than some remains of stupam
I am not much satisfied with this place..! It's a average and one tym visit place in Vijayawada there is ticket and there price like this for adults:20rs for children:10rs it's 40 km s distance from Vijayawada

Entry ticket: 25/- There is a big Stupam of Buddhist monks. Just that. Nothing more. You can take photos around here. Nearby Attractions: Buddhist Museum, a wonderful visit at just Rs.5 Dhyana Buddha statue, a must visit. Just Rs.20 Amareswara Swamy temple. All at 'walking distance' only.
Nothing is there as it shown in the pictures and previous reviews. It was all demolished and kept in museum. Its better to go to museum directly rather than going to actual stupa.
