It's not looks like a pond. Govt officials or any NGO's have to lookout this pond. Some sewage water is diverted to this pond from Thiruvithancode. It's a huge pond. If it's maintained well, we can store more water in it.

One of the biggest and oldest pond in Kanyakumari district..from thiruvithankoor kings period....

Nice location to spend time for local people due to high temperature in that particular area. But road is narrow to pass two vehicles at the same time. Better not recommended for four wheeler
