This restaurant is outside Borivali station and that's what makes my go to place post shopping. They have South Indian, chaat, juice, Chinese, north Indian all types of cuisine and they will not disappoint you. My last visit we had burnt garlic rice and paneer chilly dry it was yum.
Amar juice center is very good. We had ordered a Paper Masala Dosa - and trust me it was bigger than other restaurants. Taste was also good. Right near Borivali Station - this place is a safe try for a quick bite or proper lunch/dinner...
I have always liked the food here. But yesterday we had the most terrible customer experience at the borivali restaurant. We were a group of 8 and since it was a pleasant evening we decided to sit in the non ac section. They have only two tables of 4 to be joint in the non ac section to accommodate 8. Now one (4s) table had a sizable hump right in the center and so it was not possible to kept a food plate flat on it. Hence we requested the staff to exchange the table (movable furniture) with another EMPTY table right besides us. This table having a hump is not customers fault. The staff refused saying it's not allowed. And said if we wanted to sit together we will have to use the Ac section. I didn't find this appropriate as the table could have been easily exchanged as it done in all restaurants having movable furniture. So if u are a big group (more than 5 people) and want to sit together be ready for disappointment at this restaurant.
We come to this hotel cause we like the food. But the service is getting worst day by day. The management doesn't care about the service part. Water is served after 10 mins when u ask for it. To take order you have to please the waiters. Lack of staff. When spoke to the guy who booked the table he said the management doesn't care.
Awesome veg food at Amar. Their Pav Bhaaji is the most favored dish here, but everything that you order is worth the price and extremely tasty. Good friendly staff and very clean washroom. This place at Borivali station west is perfect for shoppers to take a break.
Food is really great out here ...no issues. Nice staff & quick service too, however you will have to wait for some items. But I was very disappointed to find a Dirty & unhygienic washroom at such a restaurant (common for Men & Women) which is mostly used by the hotel staff. Not acceptable at all, especially when u are visiting with ur family.
Excellent food .. and great menu. The pav bhaji is Ofcourse to die for. But I have also tried Chinese food this time and it was pretty tasty. The location is amazing to stop by if you are shopping in Borivali and want a break to eat.
Amazing cozy restaurant, walking distance from borivali station. Had noodle dosa and Jain Mysore masala dosa and both were yummy!! Also had masala pav and paneer shaslik which were delicious!a And that too at reasonable price.. highly recommended place
