It was a 2 day trip and the staff and the owner of Amar Apun Ghor were very welcoming. It had a very homely environment and the food was delicious and budget friendly too.

We had a great stay at this homestay! Auntie was so welcoming and helpful, she helped us to organise a taxi so that we could get to Majuli Island. The property is very close to the bus stand. The best thing about this stay was the food, which is home made and very reasonably priced - local Assamese dishes that were so delicious.
Great place affordable price, cool behaviour, complete homely package, Although location is little tough but you will enjoy the homely atmosphere, must go place if you are in jorhat, you can get all kitchen items at cheaper price so you save lots of money on food..room rent is also very low so you enjoy the place,

The restaurant is owned by a lady who single handedly looks after everything from serving food to handling customer queries. Really love the pure Ethnic food here especially people who love pork it is a must visit place. I highly recommend this place
