Alvorada Resort - Resort hotel in Arpora - North Goa, India

Located in close proximity to the Calangute and Baga beach, this property is a hidden gem. It is in a secluded lane on on the Calangute -Baga road at Arpora. It might not have a big brand associated with it, but it offers all the basics and luxuries one would expect from a hotel accommodation. The rooms are spacious, they have a cosy balcony to spend leisure time and are very clean. The washrooms too are tidy with all toiletries in order. The staff at the reception is courteous. The only reason why I'm holding back giving a 5 star rating to this property is because the rooms were not cleaned two days on the trot because the same wasn't communicated to the reception. I hasten to add that the same was done quickly on insistence. We had booked this property through an acquaintance on the independence day long weekend which is why we got it at concessional rates. Otherwise, one would end up spending around Rs.4500 per night including breakfast. They have their own swimming pool. Although the property has a restaurant and bar of its own, we honestly didn't try it since we were with a group and we found it convenient to explore nearby eateries and restaurants. Overall, a great experience and can certainly vouch for this property if one were to consider proximity to beaches.

The rooms were average , The toilet had no exhaust fans, Small toilets, Agreed to give 2 extra beds for 2 rooms before booking and later they didn't provide .they just gave one mattress which was not good and sheets had stains. They didn't even provide one room to settle down since the check-in was 2pm and we arrived early. Breakfast was also average nothing special. Their attitude towards the customers request were sub par. I won't recommend this.

Great place to stay, please ignore review given by some customers with bad experience with reseptinest , but everything was fine with me. delicious food better the costly restaurant out side. I recommend everyone to book a stay hear.

My experience was ok. Not too good not too bad. Location wise, the resort is good but not a value for money. Listing few issues I faced. 1) Not a single time the housekeeping dial number was attended. Everytime I had to call in reception. 2) Their time for cleaning room is 2 to 5 PM and mine room was cleaned around 6 PM om first day after telling them thrice. 3) Every day some issues were there after room cleaning like leaving the garbage bag in the room, not changing the towels, not refiling the shampoo and body wash gel. 4) The bed in the room was not comfortable at all. You can feel th spring of the bed. 5) Food is ok but resort not providing much options in the breakfast. During my stay, idli sambhar was repeated on daily basis. 6) No welcome drink during check in (saying as I saw it was provided to others) and no feedback taken during check out. While I was waiting in the reception for cab I saw they also seems to be frustrated with their staff. I would suggest go for other options. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS RESORT FOR STAYING.

Beautiful place located in one of the secluded by lanes, very clean and friendly staff. Rooms are nice, spacious and very comfortable, very reasonable priced ,Frontdesk staff was very friendly specially Rayn and the rest. Restaurant staff very courteous, service was superb. Food was limited choice but excellent taste specially the pasta. Definitely would like to visit again

Service of hotel is excellent. Staff and managers are very co operative. Rooms r clean and hygienic. Just one cons add door bell

For 6 wonderful days my family enjoyed the stay and the hospitality of the hotel staff who are very friendly, helpful and cooperative at all times.

I see that there are some negative reviews about the front desk. Same experience with the grumpy fake smile receptionist girl. How can the owner appoint such a person to greet his guests even after seeing all the reviews ? Rest of the staff is ok. Rooms are also ok. Housekeeping and room service was late sometimes and when we called the reception the same receptionist girl said they cannot give third towel for our kid. That was very cheap. The hotel was not fully booked.
