Aluva Railway Station - Railway services in Aluva - Ernakulam, India

Very old station. So it doesn't look neat. The platform roof is not continuous. So if it rains it will be a problem for the waiting travellers. They announce the arrival of some trains. I am saying this because, the train we were scheduled to travel entered the station unannounced. There is a paid air-conditioned waiting room. Rs 30/- per hour per person. It is always full.

I've been traveling through Aluva railway station for years, and overall, it's a decently maintained station. The railway staff, including the RPF, are friendly and helpful. However, I've encountered some porters who can be rude and overly focused on money. The station facilities are good but not excellent, and it's nice to see ongoing upgrade works. It's a convenient stop for travelers, and I hope to see further improvements in the future.

Aluva railway station is well maintained and clean. Waiting hall is best to take rest and fresh up 30 rs her head per hour. Bus stand is in just walkable distance. To reach munnar get down here.

Not enough seats in the first platform especially on the way towards the shornur side and the number of fans is also less compared to other stations. There is that quite a good station

Arrived here to attend an exam 9 months ago. Reached the station 10 minutes earlier. Overall it's a nice station. You will get clean toilet facilities, shops etc. Usually not that much crowded. (Don't know about now).

Crowded railway station but not advanced. The developments are taking very smoothly. Need more development in entrance side and parking.

A typical railway station, just like any other railway station in Kerala. Located in Aluva town. It is a major railway station where all the trains have a stop or boarding. The facilities inside the railway station are quite alright. The officials here are quite helpful. There are many shops around. However it is good to be cautious as there would be different kinds of people from other states. The road is usually crowded and it is difficult to find a parking space.
