Stayed with adult daughter for 3 nights. Not central, but fairly easy to travel in (better when metro finally finished). Staff helpful, with reasonable level of English. Stylish hotel, which unfortunately undergoing major decoration and structural works. Some resulting noise, but odour of paint and turpentine more of an issue. Lovely 19th floor dining area and infinity pool. Would recommend, especially for business travellers, not geared towards tourists. Thanks.

Seems no training provided to staff. Only yes no is known to them. Dont know any speciality of restaurant. Dont know why all the room bathroom door locks are unbroken. No query answerable by them. Just saying it is like this only all bathroom door locks are broken.

Was an awesome hotel with good service. Only drawback that I faced was to search for their reception which was on the 9th floor. Though I reached late at 930pm there was no one on the main entrance leading to the confusion. Thanks to a guest of the same hotel who led me to the reception.

Love these guys! One of the best I went for a business meet, but also was with my wife so we stayed as a couple too. The team at Altair is fantastic. Due to being a boutique hotel, they are able to provide individual attention and care to all the guests. The infrastructure is pretty good, the food is delicious. The environment and vibes are fantastic. Interiors are great! Rooms are neat and clean, hygenic. During our stay, Koel, Subhodeep, Deebakar and Srimanta treated us very well. Everytime we entered or left the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and smiles, from guards, to reception to food managers! Speaking of food managers, the entire team (I forgot their names, unfortunately, sorry guys!) managing the breakfast was awesome. They take care of everything, everyone. They will immediately reach out to help if they think you are struggling or confused (which can happen, due to their delicious breakfast buffet ). We stayed at other places after Altair, as we had to go to different parts of Kolkata, and can easily say this is one of the best hotels in kolkata. Love these guys. They've got an infinity pool, and jacuzzi. Make sure to enjoy that. Also, go to terrace at 21st floor!

Overall TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! NOT WORTH being called a BOUTIQUE HOTEL! Swimming pool was unclean and gave skin rashes. There were no changing rooms and we were asked to walk from the pool to our rooms which were on another floor. Renovation work being carried out without safety nets, I got hit by it.

Worst experience ever. can't believe we were asked to check out in the middle of the night just because we had a visiting guest come to over and their policy does not allow guests to enter their premises. we were threatened by the security and were asked to vacate immediately. this was not informed in prior to us. across the 1000s of hotel stays I've had this is the worst and I don't think I'll have a more terrible experience ever. folks who are new to Kolkata now know which hotel to stay away from. the person who asked us to leave was Ms. Raya from the reception. she had a very rude tone and was very unwelcoming

Nice location, rooftop swimming pool available. Great view from rooftop. service is a bit slow and needs improvement. Overall great experience.

We had booked for three adults and they gave me simple old mattress which you might not even use at home. A very disappointing experience. To my surprise they don't have an extra bed then why did they charge me for it. I had to call the manager and night and he wasn't even helpful. On asking the receptionist who was at night they are saying that in this hotel they give Mattress as extra bed. This is their rule apparently . I mean having such huge end cost of the room and providing with such dissatisfying service. Not worth the money at all.
