Altafs Motel - Motel in Matheran - Raigad, India

Rooms were clean with wooden interior but too small with just one bed and one small side table, and had no space to move around at all. Staff is polite and courteous but was unable to provide basic facilities like clean hot water. Bedsheets were not smelling but were of dark colour. Location is near to the market but the motel by itself doesn't have any space or area to sit, you just need to be using your room throughout your stay. Overpriced.

had stayed for 2 days here. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and upto the mark also it was comfortable. Housekeeping was good also. It has outdoor sitting area but the chairs were broken and not good for sitting outside.

1) Best rooms, clean and hygiene we were there for 2 nights. 2) Room service is good 3) Location is near to Market and Matheran railway station. 4) Near to Market where you can get food easily. 5) Center point from where you can take ride of horses to visit sites of Matheran. 6) You can see the sunrise from outside of the room.

Perfect location in the middle of town, staff will bring you food, will bargain with local tourist horse vendors, help you with cash if unable to get network anywhere pretty much everything you can think of with a smile on the face. A very peaceful and convenient place to stay at very reasonable price. I would recommend you call the hotel owner before booking online for best advice.

Place is okay, the rooms are fairly decent for the price you're paying but the real star of the place is asif. He is very sweet, polite and makes sure you have a good time. We had an amazing time at this place, all thanks to him. Also all the stars are just for him.

Caution ! Room service boy was so irritating, he comes regularly to check what is happening inside the room. Charges were high according to room and they provide absolutely no service. All you have to do is alone. Rooms are without ventilation.The boy should learn basic hospitality skill and good manner towards client. Totally bad experience this time with 0 service.

Hotel room was good need some maintenance and bathroom was cleaned, location of the hotel is 3 min walking from the market where you can get street food, restaurant and all types of shop. For service I will give 10/10 to asif bhai he is very kind person who takes care very well. He will surely makes you feel like home there. Thanks to asif and awesh too

We stayed at this place for 3 nights, and experienced amazing hospitality throughout. The caretaker of the property, Asif was super helpful and catered to our every need. Kept the rooms clean and even brought us food from the market. We felt very welcome and pampered, got exceptional services by everyone associated with this place. Do opt for this place if you visit Matheran!
