10 years back I ve been there. There was many shops but is reduced now and also taste of the sandwiches became average. I expected alot but disappointed .
Old and memories filled place for many people. Well known place in Chennai for bread omelette. Any time fresh Street food will be available there. Many good shops are there, might not be famous but good collections we can see. Very few people who are aware of this place come here for stitching and for shopping. Hidden best shops.
Old mall for remembrance. I remember visiting this mall before 15 years for internet browsing purpose. Malarum ninaivugal . Now it's famous for sandwich shops which are exactly outside this mall. It's good to see the old mall still exist with the same standards

Alsa mall... Maintanence was great and there's parking space (limited)available! You can see more than one Sandwich shops outside as they are ell known for Bread omlette! You find almost everything inside the mall!
I went to have the sandwiches sold on the shops outside Alsa Mall. The 7star sandwich shop is my favorite. One of the reasons is they have seperate counters for veg sandwiches and omlets. I recommend the cheese murukku sandwich and chutney cheese sandwiches. They have few parking slots for bikes, however they are usually occupied. So finding a parking spot on the road during peak hours may be difficult. So plan appropriately
