Alor Jharna Park - Park in New Town, Basirhat - 24 Paraganas North, India

This is a very Good Park in very Good Location on the banks of River Ichamoti.. beside Basirhat Town Hall.. inaugurated in 2010 and there was a Musical water fountain in the Park.. that is why the name is Alor Jharna.. present condition is not so good and it require improvement

It was a good place for the children and everyone once upon a time but it's not now. You can go there during the whole day but not in the night. The park is not good and safe for everyone in the evening to visit. The people should be cautious while visiting this park in the evening.You can follow my YouTube channel > "Learn with Arindam".

Nature

Near Moitra Bagaan in Basirhat town. The park lost its charm lately. Generally popular among college students and picnic lovers. The water level rose and its area decreased . The main wooden bridge is also need repairs and maintenance. Parking space near the gate. Small open shades for groups to rest and eating.

In 5 years , I got lots of memories..but The place always will be my habit to go there..not just in occasions ..anytime...so it's just inspiration,love and beauty of nature for me.

the park is small but good, the fact is, it could have been much batter, need some maintenance,

It's now a days famous for BASIRHAT BOOK FAIR and little magazine mela. Otherwise whole year it's become condemned area

Very poor maintenance..
