Nice place. There will be plenty of breeze on river side which makes you feel nice. In fact by looking at river you will for once doubt whether you are near a sea or a river - coz you will notice small waves in river due to breeze, like the ones you normally see only in sea. Have a nice time here.

Very nice place to visit, but it requires particular time to open the gates of dam water.
One of the nicest place I ever seen. I have to mention some points as below
1) the place is well maintained and as well as well build.It gives positive vibes.
2) the place is just near the dam.
3) don't forget to watch night show ( if they still do it)
4) the price of tickets is around 20Rs per person.
5) AND MUST try bhujia over there.

Come here in the morning or evening. It gets blazing hot in the daytime. You need a permit to visit the dam. But there is a beautiful garden below - Entry ticket Rs. 20/-
The garden is very big and beautiful and has a peaceful atmosphere. The fountains here are very nice. And fountain water dance show starts after 7 pm. Ticket fir garden is 40 rupees per person.
it s really a wonderful show..but it will be more graceful if the crowd will witness it by sitting in their position instead of dancing with their mobile torch on..it was indeed chaotic n disturbing ..

Located in the garden in front of Almatti Dam, there's only one show which starts at 7:30 pm and ticket counter opens from 6:30 pm. If there's more crowd the management organizes another show, if required. Each show is for half an hour and costs INR
A beautiful Garden... well maintained ,its really really wonderful better than KRS Garden .... kids will enjoy it like anything... there r many other Garden also near by...
Rooms are ok, service is not ok, location is on the highway, if u want to eat a food in this hotel u will book ur food before 1 hour and u can't sleep in the room b'coz train will pass near the hotel, so go to better hotel near in that place
All the VRL buses will make a stop here if you are traveling by it in the night.
This place is good if you want to have a quick bite.
Usually order roti with egg curry which I feel is very good out here. So do try it out.
