Good school, now secondary and higher secondary also available here, they do have big ground over and all the school as well as outside used to conduct here, good teachers i would say the best teachers, and they do conduct special class for students of 10th and higher secondary, more than that very friendly surrounding, car as well as bike parking also available here.

Here's where I have completed my high school level education. One of the biggest and oldest school in our District. When I was studying the grades were till 10th standards, Now they have upgraded with 12th education.. all the staffs are highly skilled and experienced. Good memories

Oldest school at Ponnani very nice infrastructure good teachers now facing problems from outsiders supplying drugs to students and spoiling their future so according to me old students must unite and protest against this evil things going on in innocent children's life nowadays police must take strict action against the suppliers there must be strong patrol around the school otherwise its gonna be worse than we can imagine

I have gone through a few reviews given here on AVHS Ponnani. I shall bring only such details to the readers that are not furnished by others. First of all, AVHS means Achuta Varrier High School. This is one of the oldest High School in Ponnani. It is still maintaining the good reputation in the field of education. There is sufficient infrastructure. It's play ground is also good. It has witnessed many Inter District level football matches as well as Athletics events. The school has also earned good name in organising Scouts and NSC teams. The nearest railway station is now Tirur. Earlier it was Kuttippuram. But due to the new Nariparambu Chamravattom bridge Tirur railway station is more convenient. You can reach by KSRTC buses or by private transports. The exact location of this School is approx half km from Chamravattom Junction road towards Chandapadi Ponnani.
