Alleppey Prince - Hotel in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

It's a good hotel, could be way better. It has got a lot of space and a lot more can be done to attract customers. It is not well maintained, rooms are kind of old, not well maintained, toilets were not clean, food quality not upto the mark, and the staff needs to be more focused to provide better customer service.

Goes to the restaurant often.Some renovation works are happening there.Restaurant is not crowded.Lavish parking area.Washrooms are good.A nice bar is available near the restaurant.We have to feed our baby.That is why we chose this place.Restaurant offers delicious food.Service is super good.They are so friendly.Location is near the starting of the bypass.There is no rush there.

Spacious parking is the plus point. It's easily accessible, on the highway itself. The auditorium and dining hall is spacious. Well maintained building and accessories and also has clean surroundings.

Went in for a marriage reception at the convention centre. Spacious interiors for all sorts of programs. The wash areas were kept clean too. Parking was okay too.

Good location, Good parking space, Spacious rooms. Somewhat an old hotel. Interiors not tastefully done or modernised. Bathroom is done well, though small in size. Furniture in the rooms are good. Good swimming pool. Good hospitality. The only negative point about this hotel is that it does not have 'lift' facility.

One of the old hotels in Alappuzha still running very good. The convention center is good for small functions but no very much recommended for bigger functions like marriage. One of the main concern is the parking issue.

Nice classy hotel with affordable rate just outside the town. The rooms were quite luxurious and even obtained a corporate discount for my stay. The bathroom was super clean. The breakfast however was limited. Just 3 options to choose from like idly vada, dosa and puri. The hotel charged me for the mineral water which was offered with the complimentary breakfast which was quite surprising for me. The hotel also has a wonderful pool. Great place to stay with family.

We had stayed at Alleppey Prince Hotel from the 5th of October to the 7th of October 2019. We had to attend our niece's wedding which was on the 6th of October. Three of us, me, my mom and my brother were staying in a room. It was a decent size room with comfortable beds, bathroom and other facilities. The restaurant and the hotel made us relaxed with comfortable stay and decent food. When the AC in the room where we initially stayed stopped working on the last night, the hotel made immediate arrangements to shift us to the opposite room with the same facilities and with the AC working. The fact that the wedding was held at their own convention centre, which is located right next to the hotel, made things very easy for us. The convention centre is also really good. Ample room for car parking is available in the space in front of the hotel. The main reason that encouraged me to write this review was an incident that happened. We were checking out on the 7th of October morning at 7:30 AM. Since we had to return to Bangalore, we woke up early morning at 5:00 AM, packed in a hurry, had the complimentary breakfast and left. We didn't know that mom had forgotten to pack her Banarasi Silk Saree which she wore for the wedding. We don't know how it was misplaced but we guess she had left it in the first room for it to get some air and dry. After getting back to Bangalore, we were busy with our lives and so was mom and so she didn't think or look for this saree. She had gone to Bombay in the first week of December, but at that time too this saree was not taken by her. I saw the blouse of this saree in her wardrobe and thought the saree would also be there. It was only in January when we had to get back to Kerala for another function, I had asked her about this saree. We searched a lot and couldn't find it. That's when we started thinking about the remote possibility of leaving the saree back at the hotel. Since about 4 months had already elapsed from the time of our visit, we didn't have much hopes on getting it back. My niece got in touch with the hotel management on the 1st of Feb 2020. She spoke to the receptionist over there Mr. Jijo who looked into the matter. He was able to find that Mr. Raveendran from the housekeeping staff had found the saree in the room and had promptly returned it to the hotel management. My niece collected the saree from the hotel and handed it over to my brother who got it back with him to Bangalore. The saree was found to be in pristine condition. I don't have enough words to thank Mr. Raveendran, Mr. Jijo and the hotel management for their honesty, friendliness and great customer service. This resolution provided a great relief to my Mom as she really likes that saree and knows that it's an expensive one. Thank you to everyone at Prince Hotel! We will not forget this kind gesture from your end. We have also stayed at Travancore Palace Hotel, Cherthala which is under the same management. Our experience over there has also been really great.
