Alleppey 3 Palms Guesthouse - Guest house in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

Worth it in all aspects, only thing is you need to park your vehicle opposite the canal. Please bring a lock if possible. It's a self help kind of guesthouse.

Location: close to the bus stop and ferry. Nice quiet area next to the fish farm. Host: The owner is very open, nice and welcoming person. Tries to make you feel like at home. Brings his mom's cooking for the dinner; is really interested in other cultures. He offers really worthy canal sightseeing tours. Interior used to be very nice, BUT Cleanliness: the house is very dirty. dust is everywhere. the owner obviously does not clean either floors, bathroom (washbasin, toilet, shower) or shelves and other furniture. He obviously does not change the bed sheets( The roof in some rooms is leaking. The room on the left from the entrance stinks -both from clogged drain in the bathroom and from plastic sidings of the room which get to muck heat during the day and by the evening you have this "marvelous" combination of unpleasant smell. Hope the owner will finally clean the place and change the house into a nice place it obviously used to be!

Saji is the best host we had in India! What a nice person and lovely cozy place to stay

Thought of spending 1 night ending up staying almost a week! Lovely place, quiet and with home feeling! Also great to come in group and dance, so much space and great dancefloor light for cozy evenings or big parties ! Saji is very kind and caring and knows to take care of his hosts! The food of is Mum is a delicious evening treat! The place is in a peaceful neighborhood, walking distance from center and Allappuzha's main attractions! Rooms are comfy for the value, bathroom and kitchen okay and the living room is a very nice place to gather, read or paint on a lazy day! Awesome wifi!!! Wish you the most beautiful times Saji!

This has been one of our favorite guest houses in India! Saji is a blast, really kind and takes great care of you. The room was great, hot water was available and dinner was delicious. Every evening the whole guesthouse would hang out together with Saji to chat and listen to music. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

Saji (the owner) is incredible, so helpful, friendly and so much fun! Great value and his mums amazing home cooked dinner was included in the price. We also took a day tour on his houseboat which was great value and fun.... I never normally trust when you get sold to straight off the bus but in this case it was 100% worth it.

It's a good place to stay if you want to meet other travellers and often there is party in the evening. The owner is very open and takes care of his guests. Everyone can use the kitchen. But it's not clean (the kitchen isn't hygienic and also the bedroom and bathroom are dirty). However good for the price

Saji is an excellent host who will give you the feeling to be at home. He will provide you every evening delicious food made by nobody else than his wonderful mother. Saji is a very funny person from heart who sees the human as human. 3 palms is clean enough and has a good location near to the bus and ferry stand from where you can reach beautiful beaches and the backwaters easily. Moreover, he is a very good singer what he will show you if you ask him friendly. His sound system will guarantee you funny evenings and a good start in the day.
