I don't like to give negative reviews but this restaurant needs to do much better. The food is not authentic Kerala food. Nor is it high quality. The appams were more crisp than soft. The prawns were burnt black. The chicken was hard instead of soft. The chicken in the Kerala chicken biryani was tough to break and dark brown so I wasn't sure if it was fresh. Even the pappadum tasted oversalted! The place is run by individuals who speak Marathi not Malayalam. The masalas used and the flavour of the food are more Maharashtrian than Keralite. The oil used is not cold pressed coconut oil. Even the music they were playing was not South Indian. The hygiene is not great either. When we sat down we noticed that the table had not been wiped. There were food stains and soiled tissue paper on it. We had to request for the table to be cleaned. The person wiped the table with a Colin-soaked cloth and then used the same unwashed hands to give us our plates! We wiped the plates with tissue and there was black residue that came on the tissues. The staff is polite and friendly but they need to learn about hygiene. The decor looks interesting but the floor is uneven in places. There are different raised and sunken areas. My Mother stumbled off the raised platform and fell. The bathroom steps are from the 19th century. They are really high and the door is low. It's another accident risk waiting to happen. The layout is very senior citizen unfriendly. If you are looking for authentic Kerala food you will get it at Kerala Cafe in Baner. This restaurant has an opportunity to become a really authentic Kerala food joint for the Hinjewadi locality but for that the owners, cooks and interior designers will all need to work very hard in order to improve the taste, the ingredients and the guest experience.

A good Kerala restaurant to go to, the meals are great and would feel the authentic taste. A bit of turn off for delivery is their quantity becomes a lot low at times and that's the reason for 2 stars in service but in terms of taste it's just great. Specially the Thali, Barotta with chicken curry & Fish curry are always a go to. Also a turn off is they don't provide chutney for egg Bhajji and chilli Bhajji which is a must and need to.

Authentic kerala style food and tasty. But the ambience was not good. We went for lunch and it was very hot inside. Meals were good. Overall not a fancy place but you can visit to eat kerala style food.

The ALLEPPEES Kerala Restaurant is a great place to get authentic Kerala food in Pune. The atmosphere is welcoming and there is plenty of seating available. The staff is both good and helpful. The food is delightful. The price is affordable.

Best Kerala food I had from here. Their service is amazing and the ambience was also very nice. Felt like home food. Loving the food here and especially kattan tea and coffee and also Sulemani tea.

It was my first visit to this hotel. Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. We ordered Chatti choru, Appam chicken curry, Porrota chicken roast, Prawns starter, pudding as desert, Meen pollichathu and few mocktails like Kulki sharbat, Virgin Mojito. All tasted very authentic south indian cuisine. Similar to which we get in Kerala. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back. The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best place to have authentic Kerala food. Do try Kerala parotta with chicken curry, chicken kothu parotta. Staff is so polite and welcoming. Ambience is good. They play good Tamil music.

Food is too good to have here with different taste and texture. We went ordering non-common ones and surprised with the taste, quality and quantity. A must try place for authentic Kerala taste. Go for it....
