Today i.e 03/08/2023 I went to the restaurant directly from Airport at around 05:30 pm as I was very much hungry so ordered a Chicken Dum Biriyani and after 40 mins I got the order in my table but when I started eating I find there was dead Fly among the chicken piece and rice so for me it was a horrible experience.Thanks
Great experience as always. Al Kausar does not deliver to our address, so they asked us to order on Zomato. Mutton Kakori seeks kebabs are always a favorite. We also tried the chicken kakori which was lovely, accompanied by chicken burra kebab and fish tikka. It is always a treat to enjoy food from Al Kausar. The food quality has remained consistent over the years !
We(2 people) ordered Kakori Kebabs 2 plates . 4 pieces each . 1 half Roaster tandoori chicken. 4 rumali rotis and 2 paranthas. Loved the taste especially the kakori kebabs .They literally melt in the mouth. Suggestion would be try them when hungry. Tandoori chicken was good too,loaded with Not so finely grounded spices. Definyately recommended to try this as many times you want. We order all this in a car parked close to their shop on the road.
Galouti mutton kebab was soft but chutney was average, didn't receive lemon to sprinkle.
Love the place and the old school vibe. Great food. The prices have recently been increased quite a lot though. But I never get a chance to complain at the place. Will definitely keep going back for much more.
Starters are great mainly kebabs and veg biryani is amazing. But waiters forcefully ask for tips. Owner needs to tame them. Everytime one cannot give tips forcefully.
They serve the best kakori kebabs in town and even the biryani is amongst the best in town. A special mention for the packaging of their biryani which they do in a clay pot which looks awesome and keeps the taste and the temperature of the Biryani intact. Must visit this place if you have cravings for kakori or galouti kebabs.
