Alishan biriyani ( aalishaan biriyyaani ) - Restaurant in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

The biriyani was very dry. Quantity was sufficient even I can say more than sufficient. But the dining room of the restaurant was very congested with chairs and tables. There is no place to move. Also there was no single window, at the dining room. This is the cause of Low Ventilation. Overall Biriyani was good, but don't eat at restaurant in person. Don't use their dining room. It will be nightmare for claustrophobic ones. Environment of the location of the biriyani house was nice and clean and the best is it's free from sound pollution, because of very less traffic at that locality.. So in that case it's very calm locality compared to rest of Naihati.

If you are thinking it's cheap and best then you have to suffer ! The briyani is like normal rice (or cheap quality) and I think they use old oil ! And if you are thinking of eating a CHICKEN CHAP then it's cheap quality and half cooked , like poison. After eating food from here you will definitely get indigestion or acidity ! CHEAP ARE NOT ALWAYS BEST.

I've been hearing about this place a lot. All my friends suggested me to have this biriyani. But when I finally tried I was really disappointed. *Negative points- 1. The biriyani is really dry, I wouldn't like that much dry biriyani. 2. Taste of biriyani is not so good as everyone claims. 3. The chicken chaap is too much oily, and tastes horrible. (Please don't try it). 4. Rice of the biriyani is not well moist. 5. If you care too much about hygiene, it is not for you. *Positive points- 1. Price is very low, 90 for chicken, 60 for aloo, 120 for mutton. Chicken chap and mutton chaap is also reasonable according to price, but don't try it. You'll be regretting if you had tried good chaaps before. 2. Biriyani is edible, not so bad after all, and light. Those who like light kolkata biriyani may find it moderate as it is light. 3. The ammount of the rice and the size of chicken pieces are good. Soft aloo, tender chicken. *Conclusion: If you want to eat cheap biriyani, you can have it. It's not that bad after all. But if taste matters to you, visit Bombay Biriyani. You'll be flattered. Sorry I couldn't add pics, if I can, I'll add later.

My favorite biryani shop in Naihati. Even so there are many biryani sellers in Naihati including many prominent ones, Alishan offers a very stomach-friendly biryani (neither too oily nor too spicy) that captivate me the most.

You will get mutton biriyani within 110 rs . Quality is good . Taste is average as per me . They also provide 1 egg . Amount is sufficient for 1 average person.
