Aligarh Railway station has become much better compared to other railway stations of smaller cities. They have lift facility to go up which is very convenient for passengers. Escalators are also available but at times are non functional. There is easy commute via Railway road side and there is ample parking space for vehicles.

Nice, clean and easy to reach railway station, they also have one very unique overhead pedestal bridge with ramp so that you can use the wheels of your luggage bag with very little effort and save the trouble of carrying it. Even though it didn't have many many platforms, we could exit from any side of the railway station.
Aligarh Junction railway station is an 'A' class junction station on the Kanpur-Delhi section of Howrah-Delhi main line and Howrah-Gaya-Delhi line. It is located in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It serves Aligarh. Trains started running on the East Indian Railway Company's Howrah-Delhi line in 1866. The Bareilly-Moradabad Chord via Rampur, with a branch line to Aligarh, was built by Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway in 1894. There are Seven platforms with three foot bridges. Lift facility is available at platform numbers 2,3&4. Escalators also available at platform 2 and 7. A new terminal at city side is under construction and ready to use. It also has two double-bedded non-AC retiring rooms. Facilities are good there and the daily visiting passengers are in huge numbers. Hope in future services be good there for passengers.
Neat and clean Railway station of Aligarh. This is a junction station that serves various routes to the travellers with big numbers of train departure and arrival daily. Station has six platforms well connected by Overbridge and automatic staircase. Lift is also there. They have food truck of irctc at the entrance of the junction where you can get food at affordable price. There is Retering available for now. Wish you happy journey!
It's one of the oldest and historically very important place. Station is extremely well maintained with all the basic facilities like clean toilets, tap drinking water, restrooms, platforms are neat and clean.
