Alif Khan Masjid - Historical landmark in Dholka - Ahmedabad, India

Even a word giant is so small to define this structure. Unfortunately authority is not interested to preserve such historical places. I visited frequently to this place and whenever I climb to the top notch it gives me a ultimate peace in my mind. Lake behind this mosque is also beautiful. Ayat of Quraan can be observed on wall of this mosque. 3 giant doms looks so heavy I wonder how did they built this in those time without machines. I request govt to kindly look after this place and take some necessary step to maintain and enhance beauty of this place..

It is believed that Khan Talav was once a prosperous town during the Mughal period, and the remains of an ancient mosque and a well can still be found in the area. In recent years, the government has taken several initiatives to improve the infrastructure and living conditions in Khan Talav Dholka. For example, a new water supply scheme was implemented in the village, providing access to clean drinking water to the residents.

Alif Khan Mosque - Tomb is best architectural place. Must visit if you are interested in to see historical architecture.

Wonderful place..some what outside of town... peaceful. Entire mosque is a brick structure. Very tall. It's unique. I haven't seen such structure anywhere else. No information is available. Neglected place...but great history and architecture skill.

Best place but need to restore it please save this historic place

One of the beautiful place in Gujarat, which are not that know to much people in common. I would suggest that this is one of the must visit place in Gujarat. Especially, the sunset here, which could be seen from the tower of the Masjid would be an amazing experience for everyone.

One of the best heritage place in Dholka. but not keep in good condition by authorities. some bollywood films shooted here but archeology of India not keep it clean and safe. very large Masjid and very large pond behind it. I request to authorities to maintain dis Place.

Historical gem in Gujarat... But no maintenance by government and local people..
