Alder Retreat - Hotel in Kohima - Kohima, India

One of the best resort we have stayed in India or abroad. Absolutely wonderful. It is nested between hills and jungle but in Kohima. Must stay when visiting Kohima

The place is beautiful, the view is excellent, a great place to hangout with friends and family but the food, I don't know how it is on other days but the day I went on the food was way too salty on all the dishes I had tried.

Serene place surrounded by nature and accessible approach road. Food is great with friendly, courteous staff. Tried tea and pork fried rice a couple of times and enjoyed it . Though it's pricey (GST included for all food items), the food is worth every single rupee you pay in terms of both quality and quantity. 9/10 would recommend.

Excellent stay. Though it is wooden architecture there was no humidity inside. Room heater is provided. Linens and Everything is up to the mark. However small drawback is Kitchen closes by 8pm.

Located at Agri colony, the place is very serene. Can be used for family, friends and other gatherings. The items prepared have high delicacy. Worth visiting

My family and i came to alder to have a quiet family dinner... Unfortunately next to our table there were youths drunk and noisy. One of them was even bare chested only with a jacket really not appropriate considering my young siblings were there too ... Not the managements fault however they could do something about these situations in the future... It ruined our dinner

Large clean rooms. Think all have valley views. Clean property. Helpful and polite staff. Fast service. Akra at reception was really sweat and helpfull. Would surely recommend.
