Albenjoh Guest House - Guest house in Calangute - North Goa, India

Rooms are good. (Family) we were stayed at albenjoh 3 guest house (room 102) without AC for 3 nights, its very awesome, big room & gallery and good sun lights in the room, and 1 night at reception upper floor ac room which room has ac however sun light is low in the room and we feel uncomfortable in the same room. Location - hardly 5-10 min from calangute beach & market. Service - Laxman their boy is very helpful nature with always smile, i really like it. owner is also good, never feel any rude nature in him, even last day our car was stopped for some time in front of gate, he personally came and investigate about car breakdown.

Albenjoh Guest house is situated at Calangute j!!beside Mc Donald's! It has many buildings and We stayed in Albenjoh 3 guest house ; I went through numerous reviews here many of it was against the owner's attitude and behaviour but let me tell you one thing clear that as per my 4 days of experience I found owners very very well cultured and nice behaving people and my stay was as good as home like! Big rooms , big balcony and king size bathroom with WC will never fail to amaze you! Geyser in bathroom is powered by solar cells so you must understand it's totally depend on amount of sunshine it gets on a particular day! We went in first week of Feb so there was not an issue at all! They will give you 2 water bottles each day of your stay; of course one liter each! Market from here is just one minute walk ; beach from here is almost 750 meters so you can walk to beaches without issue and it's calangute beach! Fridge is superfine and it works well! And at last I will recommend to all who wish to go Goa in calangute area!

Not at all welcoming . interrogative kind off a tone they are using . They welcomed us like a refugee. The room was soo Terrible as it is entirely different as it is mentioned in MMT . It was soo dusty . Not even a single plug point was working and owner ignored when we complained and care taker asked us to adjust our charger and hold .Tv was not recharged and the fridge was not working . when we complained he said there is no guarantee for machines and he asked us to wait for the mechanic which ruins our entire trip plan .. As we refused it and asked for a replacement he ignores again As we understood the caretaker seems helpless we adjusted. But they are soo keen in notifying customers it's time to checkout and get out .. before we checkout the caretaker took the fridge back for replacement for the next poor customer .

The guest house is good and affordable. There are several flaws but you can manage because no one stays in rooms while in goa. Pros : - Near to Calangute beach and market area walking distance - Rooms are really spacious and have balcony - Freezer available in all rooms - We got it for 1600/night even in peak season - They accept online bookings - The caretaker is really good, he was very helpful during our stay Cons : - Owner is rude for sure, felt it during checkin - Reception is at owners door - No hot water in morning because there is no gyser - No telephone in rooms - They don't provide heavy blankets, upon asking they'll give you single light blankets - Wooden bed makes noise sometimes - Even after taking proper bath when coming from beach, the sand won't leave your body and blankets, we got body rashes and alergy. Don't sleep naked. - If you open balcony for 5 mins, all mosquitos will enter in your room and ruin your night

It is located in the heart of Calangute Beach. 10 min walking distance from beach. Affordable stay with nice clean rooms. Supporting staff. Homely stay in Goa.

It was a nice stay in this hotel for 4 nights. Clean and big AC room with tv, freeze. Location is also perfect. The Calangute beach is 10 min walking distance from this hotel.

Homestay experience was quite good, I stay here in November end 2021. Good decent property by Walking 15 min to reach calangut beach. I had booked AC room. Rooms are precious & clean. Check in time in 12.00 noon & check out 11.00 am morning. One problem is, they don't provide drinking water & hot water you'll get very late as it's work on solar power so water get wasted.

Basic room with no much amenities. Rooms are clean but old. We stayed here for 2 days and then shifted to other hotel and found better stay at the same price. Very strict with the check-in and check-out timing. We reached the hotel at 11:35am and the check-in time is 1pm (which by the way is late usually it's 12pm) we were asked an early check in charge to get access to room.
