Al Taza - Shawarma restaurant in Kochi, Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

I visited Al Taza in Kochi and tried their famous shawarma. The place was bustling with people, but the interior and seating left much to be desired. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt service despite the crowd, and they maintained a hygienic kitchen. The shawarma, though, is not the authentic version but an Indianized one. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I don't believe it lives up to the hype as a must-try shawarma spot in Kochi.

Had Shawarma Burger and Al Taza Special Shawarma Roll! Both tasted absolutely amazing! The Burger is huge and can serve two if required! I understand Al Taza shawarmas are high in demand as i saw 3 huge huge shawarma rolls from which they make the carve the meat. The lime and mint lime that we had was mid and expensive though! They should up the drinks game.

Fresh and tasty. Very good ambience, dine in setup. Parking space is also available. My favorite from here is normal Chicken shawarma, If you are a shawarma lover ,you must visit this place for sure. Must try in Kochi! Amazing ambience and decent food. On of the best shawarma spot in kochi

Tried shawarma plate. Really satisfied with quality quality. Price little higher side but that's ok also ordered fresh lime. But beverages serving time is high took around 15 min +. The 2 negative I feel is that, 1 housefly 2 no mineral water on table or availability Staffs kind of slow we need time to get food, or service

It's my first time here, and everyone was giving a huge hype about the al taza shawarma. I had a chicken shawarma. It's ok ok not soo great. Felt an excess amount of mayonise rather than chicken. Anyways the shawarma is ok ok not great as others say (just my opinion). Ambience and all others is good and also there is a great rush.

The shawarma burger was huge enough for two persons and so was the dry fruit shake. Both rich in flavour and filling. Visited this place on a friend's recommendation and it was worth going.

Very clumsy place. Had a suffocating feeling inside. Bad seating. Not a good ambience. Food was below average. We ordered their signature shawarma but it was very dry and cold. the order was delivered within five minutes so three star for serving. But the order was cold and felt like already prepared for a long time. No water served here. A bottle is kept but it is not changed. The tables weren't clean. The seating was old. Place Smelt bad. Went here after hearing good reviews. But it is really not worth the hype. Not recommended.
