*THE NAME IS BISMI* ->One of the oldest and best hotels in this surrounding. -> The taste will be very good here. -> Must try pepper mutton , its taste is TopClass. ->Will be crowded always but it is worth the wait ->Must visit this hotel for best nonveg food. ->Expensive compared to normal costs in the area but taste will be very good. -> Idiyappam is my fav here with mutton pepper masala. **I Highly recommend this place for you.

Hotel Bismi , Mannady St This famous eatery is functioning more than a couple of decades and still didn't lose its charm. Located in the kurugal sandhu but still grabbing attention since ages. Exactly located to opp street of mannady mask ( will location below as well). . . This shop is much famous for parota saalna and non veg sides. Probably one of a bhai hotel which doesn't serve Biriynai but focuses mainly on parota and sides.. They too have nei soru but it will be available for selective days and mainly fot lunch. . . My Orders . . The menu is simple . They have a display plate which has all sides so you can choose whatever you want. . . Parota (15 INR) : Regular sized Parota served with nallennai la cook panna saalna . Solla solla naku oorudhu moment. One of the best parota shops serves good salna ( piece um irukum). . . Chicken Kothu (200 INR) : well minced parota with loads of Chicken pieces . The curry leave flavors well infused with the dish. . . Mutta Veechu: Layered to the core with egg stuffing. Sized like a regular sized pizza tasted really good. Strictly should have this when served hot. . . Kaadai Masala : My all time favourite here. The masala here was the best. A spicy oily masala which will definitely go well with Parota as well as white rice ( if you prepare it as satti siru as well). . . Mutton Maneeral Fry : This was good as well. soft and no that pacha vasanai perfectly well cooked. masala here was a bit same as kadai masala. . . Chicken Chops: Had some two big pieces and tight packed masala tasted really good *** I could remember price of only few items as i lost the paper bill . I visited the hotel after 10 years and the reputation they were having those times were lost. I ordered Veechu poratta and mutton curry. Veechu poratta was hot and yummy but the curry was ok but was served cold. I can't understand why they don't serve the dish hot and later to finish the poratta I tried my luck by ordering chicken curry and same I cannot finish at all. Disappointed when compared to the earlier days.

Since I born and brought up in this same area I know this place for very long time, trust me the food here is very good compared to all other road side shops or kaiyendhi bhavan type of food centres. You may think price is little high for such shop but the taste and quality justifies it.

Very expensive food price here make sure will ask the price before order. They don't have proper price list. One plain meals with small fish fry was Rs.300/- rupees they charged. No taste, Rasam was worst taste. It's not OLD BISMI. BEWARE OF PRICE.

Decided to visit this place to try their parotta and salna based on google rating. If you are following google map to locate this place then you'll be lost like me. It's a typical old fast food kind of hotel located in the narrow lane of Angappan street 2nd lane. Ordered initially 3 parotta but after seeing the size I limited to 2. It's fairly an hand sized parotta neither too soft nor hard. For those who got influenced with the trending bun parottas this would bring back ur old memories. The hot salna accompanying the parotta is neither spicy nor blunt and goes well it. Wanted to try to side dishes so ordered chicken masala. Within few minutes it was served in the table and it's wasn't hot as well. The masala was a thick and flavorful one oozing out of oil. For people who are diet conscious this would bring an heart attack. Priced at 180 rupee it's a decent one. On the whole it was a average hotel which can be tried once.

The BEST Hotel in Mannady. Taste anything you want, and it would surely satisfy your taste buds. Kadugu Kozhi is a must try!
