Akshaya The Belvedere - Apartments in Guduvancheri - Chengalpattu, India

Buyers beware. The management will charge you a Rs.25,000 penalty if you are buying your dream house here. They call it a transfer fee, I don't know what they will transfer for 25k except to update some spreadsheets and a name board. It is called stealing. The security and housekeeping staff are very kind and courteous. However the supervisor and the association members will treat you like your rude dominating grandfather. A huge amount of money is collected as Maintenance (I pay 5k per month) but the building is not painted ever since, grass not maintained, water leaks from the ceiling and rude behaviour from Management. <Update> They have started repainting the building at the cost of owners. About 30k per flat. Still ridiculous.

Delivery guys and cab drivers need to have an ID on them to enter. The clubhouse infrastructure is good, but is a flop since it's not maintained and used properly. The guards are pretty chill about everything. Lots of families reside here but I haven't seen a dispute between them and the bachelors ever. No marketplace or store inside the premises. The commercial building has been under construction for the past 4 years.

We are rented flatmates at your well established Akshaya The Belvedere Apartments. We have been living here for the past 7 months and really satisfied with the facilities. Unfortunately we were ill treated by the security guards for bringing in visitors by not allowing them inside the apartments premises. This seemed not to be an issue before when ID cards were provided at the gate. This time around we were told to get permission from the manager, which we did but the guard stated, "even if the manager allows, I won't allow it!". This kind of treatment was very unprofessional. And eventually we had to give in as the security guard was creating a ruckus! The only reason we selected Akshaya Apartments was for its safety and security reasons, but that seems to backfire on us.

I came in to see rental property. I really liked the house but they strictly said no dogs even if you are going to buy a house we won't allow dogs.. that's just rude

Nice place. If you wish a good gym with swimming pools and a indoor sports place. Then go for it. But it's location is not quite good, if you own a car or two wheeler, fair and good but if you're one who opts public transport then not so good choice. And it's not quite spacious, the rooms. All compact and simple.

Tenents beware! Worst maintenance here. They're charging separately for using clubhouse other than maintenance also every Monday Club house is closed for maintenance on top of it everyday 10am to 4pm clubhouse closed for maintenance. Any repair or eb problem they won't give a permanent fix.

Very good environment in this place....good and comfy houses.....swimming pool,gym,billiards and table tennis available for club members.....all kinds of shops around this place...no need to go far to buy things...

I lived there for a year and I had a wonderful experience. The security of the apartments are really good, they don't allow anyone without any permission. They checked all the cars and cabs before entering inside. The maintaince staff is also very cooperative. Whatever problem you have in your apartment they will come to your apartment in an hour after your call. They collect garbage everyday but you also have to be cooperative by seperating your garbage into two bags, one biodegradable and second non biodegradable. They properly cleaned the cooridors everyday. They have maintained gardens very well. There are seasonal flower plants, green plants and trees, and you can find lots of Tulsi and aloe vera plants which are very good for your health. They maintained garden everyday by watering , trimming the plants on regular intervals and removing weeds. The play area also there for children. The play area has rubber floor which prevent children from any injury. My favorite place there is club which has swimming pool, table tennis, gym, mini theater and small hall. The swimming pool is cleaned regularly and have separate times for boys and girls and near to swimming pool you have chairs to relax. Gym is equipped with all the necessary machines and weights. Gym trainer also give you suggestions what excercise you have to do. Gym is spacious and air conditioned. You can watch your own movie in a mini theater which has a capacity of thirty people. It has good screens, comfortable chairs and good sound effects. During IPL they show matches in the theater. Security people take proper rounds everytime. Proper parking space is there. Many families stay there. Students can get 2bhk and 3bhk apprtments there. It's very close to grocery store and shopping center. There is well developed market near the apprtment so you can find anything near to your place. There are many good restaurants and street food near to the apartment. In short it's the best place specially for SRM students to stay there. I hope you also have good time there :)
