My husband and I sought prenatal care at this Hospital since August. However, our experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Key Issues: Lack of a female doctor for scans despite prior inquiry. No in-house lab, leading to delays and extra costs for outsourced tests. Poor communication between staff and doctors. Receptionist's dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior. Consultation fee of 350 with an additional 50 charge for injectables. Moreover, doctor punctuality was consistently poor, with a 40-minute delay for our appointment. The receptionist's hostile response when we raised concerns was deeply unprofessional. We were even asked to seek medical attention elsewhere, showing a lack of consideration for patients. Overall, our experience has been extremely disappointing, and we do not recommend Akshara Hospital for care.

Best hospital for fertility and maternity care. I had c section because of water leaking without pain as well as injection also going on but pain didn't come so we go for c section. We blessed with girl baby Dr.chellatamizh is such a sweetheart, she is very patient, positive and she waited almost 1 days for making it happen. She tried all possible ways for making it normal and she did it but I didn't get pain so she suggested c section. After that operation lets done well. And then first day ful of complete rest second day try to walk with the help nurses but it's very different to walk and next day not fine it's ok third day I will walk well. All nurses, cleaning staff, receptionist are very friendly and supportive from start date till discharge date. A big thanks to all sisters and especially Saranya sister who handled me very politely And supported me in before I will going operation theatre. Since August, my wife and I have been seeking prenatal care at at this Hospital. Regrettably, our experience has been marred by several significant shortcomings. * Lack of Female Doctor for Scans: Despite our prior inquiry, we were told that a female doctor for scans was not available. Dr. ChellaTamizh's response was dismissive, suggesting that we should have informed them earlier of our preference. This is a basic expectation for any prenatal care facility and its absence is deeply disappointing. * Outsourced Lab Tests: The absence of an in-house lab is a notable inconvenience. All tests are outsourced, leading to a delay of up to three days for results and incurring unnecessary additional costs. This not only prolongs the waiting period for diagnosis but also increases the financial burden, which is unacceptable. * Communication Issues: Communication between the nursing staff and doctors, including Dr. ChellaTamizh, leaves much to be desired. Queries and concerns were met with silence and a lack of responsiveness, leaving us feeling unheard and frustrated. * Unprofessional Receptionist (Especially who wear spectacles): The receptionist's unprofessional behavior compounded our negative experience. Despite our valid concerns and the significant inconveniences we faced, we were met with dismissiveness and a refusal to address our issues. *Consultation Fees and Additional Charges: The consultation fee was already on the higher side at 350. It was extremely disappointing to discover that additional charges of 50 were levied for every injectable administered on the same day by Dr. ChellaTamizh. This lack of transparency in billing was deeply frustrating. Additionally, the consistent tardiness of Dr. ChellaTamizh added to our frustrations. Despite an 11:30 am appointment, we were left waiting in the rain with our 2.5-year-old child until well after 12:10 pm. Furthermore, we received a call from the receptionist later that evening, informing us that we were no longer welcome at the hospital. This abrupt dismissal, without providing a reason, was both shocking and unprofessional. The overall lack of professionalism, communication, basic amenities, and transparency in billing has left us deeply dissatisfied and feeling disregarded. We sincerely hope that the hospital, and particularly Dr. ChellaTamizh, takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly. In light of our experience, we strongly caution others considering this hospital for care. Our disappointment has led us to seek medical attention elsewhere. For your reply Your audacity to tell a patient not to come if they can't endure your delays is beyond belief. We are paying customers, not charity cases. Provide the service we're paying for or inform us of any delays. I find it astonishing that even with my level of education, I'm left questioning your actions. A hospital of your supposed caliber should have the basic courtesy to inform patients before scheduling appointments with a male scan doctor. Our preference for a female doctor is crystal clear, and it is absolutely non-negotiable. Let me be clear: the extra charges I incurred were a result of my inquiries (50 INR for every injection), based on the stark contrast with other hospitals.The frustration and disdain I feel are a direct consequence of your hospital's utter lack of professionalism and communication. Frankly, I've wasted enough time trying to communicate my grievances to deaf ears.I will waste no more of my time. I've just come across another review mentioning the tragic loss of a newborn due to the absence of a duty doctor at a critical time. My wife was blessed with a girl baby .this was truly only because of the gynecologist Dr.chellatamizh .she is simple and gentle in her behaviour and she will give sufficient time for each patient .she prefers for C _section when it is bert much required only. From our 1st consultation itself doctor and nurses are so kind and knowledgeable. Hospital is equipped with all necessary amenities with affordable pricing. We delivered our second Boy baby at this hospital, through C section on 28th November. We had a very pleasant experience from the start with Dr Chellatamizh and team. Doctor answered our queries patiently and explained the growth and next steps clearly. Nurses explain clear medication details after every doctor's visit. The reception desk called and checked the health regularly, followed up till the admission date. The delivery experience was satisfying and the operation went smooth. Nurses took good care of the child and wife from the first hour. They ensured regular feeding and all check-ups were done methodically. Nurses were very cooperative and took care of the baby in the night and didn't hesitate to attend at any time They were helpful till the last minute of discharge. The discharge process was super quick once Dr gave go ahead, got the Bills immediately after making the payment. Thanks again to Dr and team, would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a maternity hospital nearby.
