Extremely well sculpted kunda believed to be from late 10th century. It has five layers and 72 niches housing the sculptures of various deities. There's huge Banyan tree in the premises. Lateral flight of steps lead down to the well. Akhaj is tremendously prosperous village.
Some very unique statues are here. Very much remote monument, almost unknown but have some unique figure or carving of lord Ganesha and some others. Any archaeology lover must visit it. And if you like please give marks to my review.
