Akash Hilltop Resort - Resort hotel in Ajodhya - Purulia, India

Newly built cottages are really awesome. Properly cleaned rooms. Room service and restaurant services are a little sluggish. This property is currently in development of phase and expecting to improve those areas. Also a good part is that they are trying to maintain the green with proper care.

Everything is praiseworthy. Only one thing should be kept in mind that before leaving the property please check the charges being paid carefully. Generally visitors are in hurry while checking out after making payment of the bills for room and food. I ordered 1 motor paneer (Rs.150/plate) and 4 tawa roti (Rs.20/piece). I trusted them and made the payment as claimed. After coming back to Kolkata, it is noticed that they charged approx Rs.400/- excess by considering 4 plate motor paneer and 1 piece tawa roti. When contacted over mobile phone they admitted the mistake but refused to refund the excess amount so taken and offered that the same can only be adjusted during next visit. So be careful while making payment.

The resort is really a good one. The rooms are cozy and beautiful. Food is awesome. The most beautiful part of staying here is to feel the cordial behaviour of the staff. They are always at your service.

Rooms were 1st class, a big lawn there.... A swimming pool was also being constructed behind the Resort.... Service was also very good... The servicemen there were also very co-operative.... Foods were also very good... Just the location is 1 HR from the station... But the view there was mind blowing.... Over it was too good

Only place I could find in Ayodhya pahad with a grand view of the surrounding plateau. Take a first or second floor room and you have a grand view from your attached balcony or even sitting inside your room. You can see the upper dam from most of the rooms. The location was great, right on the hill top. The food was great, expert chef, overall service and staff behaviour were great, heart warming. The garden and parking space were nice and beautiful too.

It was a sort of reunion trip of our old friends and the hotel and the location did not disappointed us. The location is awesome. The food was good and most important thing, behaviour of the staffs was excellent. They were very friendly & helpful and service was just awesome. Coming to the location, quite a big property with lawns and garden. You can enjoy the evening sitting in the lawns of the hotel. The view from the room is good. The hotel has a big and decent parking place. The new building of the hotel has just started the operating and so you could expect newly painted and decorated rooms, new lifts, new clean toilets etc. Some parts of the hotel is still under construction.

Okay so there are many things to tell about this particular hotel/resort, the rooms are perfect, view from the balcony is excellent nothing to say about it, this property is under construction so many more things are yet to come like pools etc. Now coming to food, quality and taste of the food served here is not upto the mark, the restaurant is totally useless, nothing is available there and about the service, the most disgusting part, we got no room service even after informing about it for several times, the behavior of the staff there is very rude, making the rooms luxurious and getting locational favours will not help the hotel if this certain things like the "Service" particularly is not improved.

Food is not good. Rooms were good. Service was really bad. Pointed out few issues with the room.. no response
