If you love forests and the calm atmosphere of this then you must go to visit this place. The serene beauty of the entire Ayodhya hills and it's people will captivate your heart if you are a peace and beauty lover. It's the heaven for birding. You have to spend a few days in the jungle to capture the tiny beauties of nature. The smell ,the air ,the greenery will be unfolded to you more if you are an early riser and if you walk in the jungles(daytime).
Do visit and relax your eyes.
Also try to keep the calmness and hear the sounds of the forest in the night.
It's not place to drink and party but to enjoy the serene nature.
Mesmerizing views in Winter Mornings
Hill tops are good..
We visited for Kolkata in 2022 November it was very good.
It has good roads and scenic beauty to satisfy the eyes.
Bamni Falls are good for to get a quick bath in Hot summer
Loved this places.
Hotel fair was accordingly okay 1000 for two people Non AC.
Fooding issue is there as the place is developing till yet.
Will visit again in sometime
Good place to visit.....go in a group preferably four minimum.....couples should travel with friends otherwise there can be safety issues .... Please be safe near waterfall and of course not a couple friendly area because it's too quiet and you will not many people around you for some 2-3 kilometres area.
It's a nice place to visit for those people who loves to spend time with mother nature. Main attractions of ayoddha tour are
1. Bamni falls.
2. Marble Lake.
3. Upper and lower dam.
4. Tunga waterfall.
5. Mayur hill view point.
You can check some of the photos attached here.
Revisited Mayur Pahar after 15 yrs. The area did not develop at all economically and locals remain poor even after the 'change' in power in West Bengal. A lot of kids beg for either food or money - does not give a good message to visitors. Outsider hoteliers and transport agencies are making fortune over them. However, roads are better than earlier times. More of tourists further breaking the eco system of nature.
If you want to visit hill station near purulia it's a good place to visit. Roads are well maintained to go, nearby hostels for food are available.
What a fantastic place to spend your weekend. mountain, waterfall, and the forest. just amazing
It's a beautiful place with mountains, lakes, waterfalls and dams. A must visit for all tourists to witness these natural beauty. Many local shops are available for food and shopping. You can take your own car or hire private transport for whole day tour.

A must visit place if you've ever been to the Ajodhya Pahar. There is nothing of much importance here but the beauty of the place is so mesmerizing that you will be spellbound. It is a great place for taking good pictures and you can also come here
The place is basic. But the view from the watch tower is just spectacular. If you are not planning to ride the watch tower, then you shouldn't come here. But the view from that tower is too good to skip and worth all the tiny hike. Recommended.
We have very much enjoyed our trip at Ajodha Hill Acrade. The place was awesome with great weather. Staff are very well behaved. Food along with the barbecue was very good and tasty.
Mr. Amit Paul (owner) is a very kind and helpful person. Thanks to
The Hotel is at Ajodhya hill top, surrounded. Surrounded by woods all around, it has a great scenic beauty. Most importantly, it has a big parking lot and shops nearby. Rooms are spacious, have decent washrooms and staffs are friendly.
Newly built cottages are really awesome. Properly cleaned rooms. Room service and restaurant services are a little sluggish. This property is currently in development of phase and expecting to improve those areas. Also a good part is that they are tr
