AJINKYA LODGE - Lodge in Sangola - Solapur, India

Amazed with the value proposition. The property is very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly. The only downside I had was with the bedsheets which was soiled and had some blood marks. This was immediately changed and the experience here was really good.

Washrooms - the most essential part of any stay - inside the rooms were either broken or unclean. Staff are good, but facilities are most important when you're travelling and require attention here.

No arrangements for food is the only issue. Yet it is value for money. Hardly any better accommodation is available in the locality.

Only good things about this place is the location ( 3 mins from ST Bus stand) and Rooms (Spacious). Pathetic services - Front desk refusing to check-in spouse doesn't having her name changed from maiden name to Husband's despite hotel having policy of Unmarried couple with local IDs. People including HK/Front desk barging into rooms without even knocking /ringing bell (on one occasion when I forgot to latch in from inside) Hygiene- Despite claims by HK that management makes them clean them rooms twice every day, it wasn't done before a guest checks in and Sweeping/Mopping done after check-in by guests. Pillows doesn't have any pillow cover and stinks badly with all visible dirt and stains. I had to use my bad as pillow.

It was a really good stay for us. Rooms are nice and can accommodate 3 - 4 people easily. Location is easy to find exactly opposite of the St stand on sangola. Staff is supportive, they don't have resturant of their own, but we can order food from outside so that can solve your problem.

Good place to stay in Sangola .. better than many other Hotels:) Room was clean and well maintained ..

- Rooms are dark and not airy and were stinking. - Bathroom was not clean - Toilet was stinky and not cleaned. When asked to clean them we were refused saying it's cleaned already - Receptionist was drunked There are far better options than this lodge in Sangola Overall it's not recommended at all.

For a place like Sangola this lodge offers a decent short-term stay option. The rooms are airy, not cramped for space and are relatively cleaner than the other options available nearby. Located opposite to the bus-stand, this place is economically priced.
