This place is free of charge. So many gardens and birds all the way. The place is very silent. I recommend for kids of all age groups.

One of the famous and best park in Rajkot situated beside Aji River. LOCATION: At the outskirts of Rajkot City around 8 km far away. ACTIVITIES: 1) Morning walk and Exercise also one can do yoga & pranayam along with that enjoying the winter sunrise is always fascinating. 2) Day time picnic spot enjoying the company of family & near ones with the cool breeze is a delightful experience though. 3) Children playground and instruments/equipments available for the same. 4) Photography, vlogging , enjoying the aquarium, experience the beautiful Environmental and recreational activities can be done. POSITIVE POINTS:. 1) No entry fees 2) Getting the view of dam along with the park 3)Large parking [P] space available for two / four wheeler parking. 4) Available food stalls to munch around. NEGATIVE POINTS: 1)No wheelchair accessiblility. 2) Lot of place is under construction 3) Cleanliness of dam water is somewhat compromised. 4) No washroom or available clean drinking water. OVERALL: It's one of my best experience to enjoy the mother nature & it's greenary surrounding with the reflection of the sun during sunrise or sunset is just mesmerizing!! Their collection of animals is not up to mark but still it is worth place to visit for whole day picnic in Rajkot. Aji Dam Garden is situated 8 km away from the city which takes nearly 10-15 minutes drive from main Rajkot. It is placed on the south east direction of city which is easy to access from any part thereof. Local buses and rickshaws are available in city place to reach Aji Dam Garden. Being situated on State highway 25, it is surrounded by many well known places of tourism. Aji Dam is managed and administrated by Rajkot Municipal Corporation. Hence there are no such charges levied on visitors. But activities are charged according to individual rides. Timings are also flexible, which starts from morning to evening till sun set. Monsoon period is the best time to visit Aji Dam Garden. During this phase of time, the garden and adjoining area blossoms with flowers and green vegetation. Even dam filled with water reflects awesome view of cascading water, garden and reservoir.

Aji Dam built over Aji River...you can go in the water and enjoy nature... One of the good place to hangout with family and friends... Hardly 4 to 5 km from City area...

Awesome place to visit or enjoy with friends and family. No entry fees. Good view of the sunrise. But the area is somewhat underdeveloped. It need to be developed as a picnic spot. There are various garden in the area. Few stalls of packed food is available. No proper facilities at place.
