Proper maintenance and cleaning is required.Students residing in the hostel should take it as their house and they should also take care.

There are two blocks in this boarding house-A & B. Almost one thousands students live in. There is also beautiful Mosque. This hostel is located in front of Saiyyed Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys)

It's a very good hostel for boys and have a very good staff but with a need of some restoration only and some strictness for the boys

Very dirty and messy place no proper lighting on the way between the rooms toilet are also not clean

It's the hostel for class +2 students of sayyid Hamid senior secondary school

Allama Iqbal Hall ( Boarding House) is one of the most beautiful and best Hostel in Aligarh Muslim University. We Learn a much more by living in a Hostel rather than living in any other place (like in rented rooms or in pg). Hostel life is a great and most enjoyed part of one's life those who are residing in any hostel can feel that. We learn a much more new things like Living far away from is not that easy but we reside there and make many new friends but after some time you realise that those all you are calling your friends are' nt your real friends but very few of them are your Good Friend and those few are the " Friends for Life" ( Friends Forever). But do not take it on your mind this cuzz this happens to all you are not the only one. But I want to say that the only time you can spend quality time with your friends is in the Hostel Time. The Foundation Stone of Allama Iqbal Hall (Presently known as Allama Iqbal Boarding House) was laid by a great Islamic Scholar, Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi, on August 28, 1984. The Hall is named after Mohammad Iqbal, popularly known as Allama Iqbal, a great thinker and renowned poet. Allama Iqbal profoundly influenced the philosophical and religious outlook of younger generation of Indians which include both Hindus and Muslims, through his Urdu and Persian poetry. Allama Iqbal was highly influenced by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. Sir Syed and Iqbal did a lot to awaken the Muslims out of their deep slumber to the new horizons of the world.
