All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna (AIIMS Patna), previously Jaya Prakash Narayan All India Institute of Medical Sciences (JPNAIIMS),is a medical college and medical research public institute located in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar, India. It is one of the Institutes of National Importance in India. It started operating on 25 September 2012 after a series of observations by Patna High Court.The institute operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Its foundation was laid by Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, on 3 January 2004, during his tenure as vice-president.As of 2018, it became fully functional. AIIMS PATNA hospital comprises OPD block, IPD block, Trauma and Emergency block and a separate AYUSH and PMR building having state of art infrastructure.As of 2020, AIIMS PATNA has 950 beds, 28 functional modular operating theatres, 12 functional super speciality and 18 functional speciality.

It now function as operation theatre and wards.. No Ayurvedic facility available in Aiims patna

Very nice hospital.Dr gives a lot of time to the patients.It is also very clean hospital.Good doctors are available for all the departments.

Inexperienced doctors. Looks like these people are just learning. Everything is fine, but the doctor is not right.These people do not cure the patient and keep taking their commission by feeding them with tablets.koii bhii jaaNc phrii nhiiN hai. hr jaaNc kaa paisaa denaa pdddhtaa hai.

It is present just behind the AIIMS OPD ....it has been especially built for providing services like Ayush and physical medicine and rehabilitation....office of person related with Ayushman bharat is also there..all person related with ayush are present their....below the ayush building central pharmacy is present also one pharmacy is present on first floor.

Hi ,as per my personal review . AIIMs patna is really much much far better than any medical hospital in Bihar. But only pitfall is that there is messaive crowding at OPD. .... So I suggest if any one visiting AIIM Patna , I would like to tell go in the early morning (nearly 6-7 AM) and get yourself in the first line up. ...Also but most importantly , I suggest you all to buy medical from Aayush Building Ground floor, you will get 20% discount . So it's the most preferred deals in patients visiting AIIMS patna
