I would say its a very interesting place. Located inside the campus, next to an art gallery is this cave like structure. The walls are painted in different colours. There are no fans or air conditioning inside , so it might be suffocating. There are no washrooms inside as well. You cannot take a wheelchair here.

This place consists of such amazing art by the architect B.V.Doshi and M.F.Hussain. The inside roof wall is painted as Sheshnag and the other human structures inside the gufa were very astonishing. I really liked visiting this place. It was my 1st experience of architecture and art in Gujarat. Absolutely loved it. Along with it there's a gallery also to showcase arts. When I visited there was an ongoing art exhibition. Really liked the whole place.
It is very nice place for Weekends to Roam around and also one best cafe is located here. It's just small Cave and there is nothing more to see but besides this cave on weekends, the art exhibition are done.

Hidden but not so hidden for the art lover public, this place surrounded in middle of the heart of the city of Ahmedabad. It was designed to demonstrate the collaboration between an artist and architect. An underground gallery [Cave shaped inside] housing designed by the architect B.V Doshi which exhibits works of the artist M.F Husain also known as Husian-Doshi Gufa in span of years between 1992-1995. It has transformed and had become a living organism and sociocultural centre a complex wherein an unusual design aided by computer which deprives a challenges between an artist and an architect who had born the most unexpected the mysterious lights and remembrance. The shells outer layer of Gufa [Dome shaped connected] covered with mosic tiles from reinforcing bars popping out from dome and mesh covered cement which is totally handmade resembling the trunks of trees. In its surroundings they have art gallery, a cafe and paintings of the artists vary upon on which day you visit. Overall a must visit place, on Monday it is closed.
