Aharveda - Vegan restaurant in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

Wow. What a fantastic experience! The food was incredible - I am vegan, so it's always a pleasure to dine somewhere that honours these dietary preferences. The service was amazing, they were so attentive to our needs, and made us feel welcome. Finally, the atmosphere. SUCH a lovely spot. We will absolutely be going back.

Nice ultra veg place behind RadhaKrishna... The food is yummy by vegan standards and the staff is super helpful. My wife is on a special diet after her gut surgery and I have finally seen her enjoy a meal today after her surgery last month. Portions are generous and usually enough for one and a half small eaters like us but I saw my daughter relish veg food for the first time in her life.

Food served on silver platters. Great service. I found a the menu not Ayurveda style, which is what I was expecting. The thali is nice and coconut milk chaas is included. I had sugarcane juice and Sri lankan stewed idli, those were really nice They give you a warm finger bowl to wash your hands after eating the thali. I really like that traditional ritual of finger bowl with lemon . Clean restrooms/ toilets and nice place

Their menu is creative enough to generate interest. Food is equally impressive. They have lot of great options.. we tried thali, protein salad and several juices. Food was truly balanced, authentic taste, no unnecessary spices. By any means it did not taste like it is made commercially. As they have lot of good options to try, I am going to visit it again.

The worst food I have ever tasted. Hospitality is so poor that the staff doesn't listen to your words at all. We ordered thali there and asked to remove the dishes that contain brinjal as we don't eat the same. Inspite of this request they served us the mixed vegetable which had brinjal in it. Thats how they ruin your mood and waste the money. M sure will never visit the place again

We had their Aharveda thali, which was nothing short of brilliant. Breaks every notion of vegan food - the vegetables were exceptionally tasty, the dahi wada and the buttermilk and desert were beyond belief. The presentation and portion sizes are awesome. Excellent service by Hukumdev, Nityanand and team. We'll definitely be back many times again. KUDOS for the this noble thought and brilliant execution.

This place serves gut friendly , health food for all ages. I loved the place and it's service ...very quick and flavourful food ...the taste was bursting on my tongue..infact my kids also liked it very much..I would recommend everyone enjoy the food here.. the Rajgira pizza was innovative and delicious food for me ...

I eat non-veg food four times a week at minimum and vegan food was the last thing I would've ever tried had it not been for my Mom. My ma had read about Aaharveda long back in some newspaper and was really keen to try it out. After giving up on me she finally convinced my friends and we were there for a brunch last Sunday! It's inside the famous Golden chariot restaurant on Andheri West SV road and operated by the same management itself. The ambiance has good-decent classic family restaurant vibe. The menu on the other is poles apart from your usual golden chariot menu. We ordered a lot of food from - non bread pizza - Sandwiches - Garlic (non) bread sticks - pulao To - vegan Dahi Vada Must say, I was impressed with Non-Bread bread made of Rajgira (Desi quinoa) to vegan Dahi made out of almond milk(!?) It all tasted nice and delicious for first couple of bites but nah I couldn't finish or gorge on any of the dishes. Although between four of us we managed to finish it all. Giving it 4 stars cuz if I was a vegan I would've truly loved it I must say. Also at the given price point how many Vegan restaurants do we have in this side of the bay is something which is unknown to an uninitiated like me. All in all good experience, will definitely visit next time I'm out with my Vegan friends (I barely know 3 people who are True vegans so umm I don't know when tbh ;)) My only complain is the staff although very polite, patient and professional lacks knowledge about these Vegan dishes.
