Aharbal Waterfall, located in the remote Kulgam district of Kashmir, is a true natural wonder. As the highest waterfall in the region, it offers a spectacular display of nature's power and beauty. The cascade's mighty flow, surrounded by lush greenery, captivates the senses and beckons nature enthusiasts. However, a drawback to this otherwise enchanting site is the presence of high fencing topped with barbed wire. While these security measures are crucial for safety, they obstruct the unfettered view of the waterfall, somewhat diminishing the overall experience.Nonetheless, Aharbal Waterfall remains a must-visit destination for those seeking to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of Kashmir's natural landscape. Despite the fencing, the sight and sound of the cascading waters, set against the backdrop of verdant scenery, create a tranquil and picturesque ambiance that makes the journey to this remote location well worth it.
Surely "The Niagra Falls of Kashmir" The best thing about this majestic waterfall is scenery, which is absolutely breathtaking. Lot of peace and calmness, so yeah a day well spent
Majestic Falls, water is so clean and chilled. Tourist Advisory: I would suggest going some 1 km along the main road, beyond the main park near the bridge to have an actual feeling of crystal clear waters. It's very refreshing to wash your face or even take a quick dip in water.
One of the few untouched gems in Kashmir, Aharbal is rightfully called the Niagara Falls of India. The water is extremely and the views are breathtaking. As it's a considerable distance from Srinagar, it is mostly untouched by tourists and retains its natural beauty. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to relax and get away from the crowd.

One of the best tourist attractions in Jammu and Kashmir, it is located in Kulgam, its about 70kms from the Heart of City (Srinagar) The Niagara fall of Kashmir Aharbal is a sparkling waterfall. However, the place is a bit crowded on holidays and the protective fencing, essential for keeping selfie-driven youth safe, steals the real natural beauty of the place.I had enjoyed very much here with my Friends (family ) and I want to visit more Times who had not visited here hurry and visit these waterfalls .You can stay hotels nearby. Hope my review will help others, thank you
