Visited this architectural landmark yesterday during my Solo motorcycle ride to Patan. The gate is exquisitely designed and perfectly maintained. I had a good time admiring this piece of history. 100% recommended for anyone visiting Patan.
Updated 19th Feb 2020. On my second visit to Patan paid more attention to the darwajas. Attaching eight more pics. Visited Sep 2018. Passed this way while walking to Rani Ki Vav. This gate is worth visiting though it needs to be maintained properly and kept clean.
It's a historical place where you can see some artistic big door called aghara darwaja.
One of the 12 gates in the Historical city Patan, Aghar Darwaja is a beautiful gate with stone carvings. Patan Nagarpalika has developed a beautiful garden just outside this gate. But this place needs to be kept clean and deserves good maintenance.
