The place is amazing with its tranquility and serenity. road to visit the lake is little bit with potholes but you will indeed enjoy the scenic views of the journey with some mountains, forests and ofcourse the water once you are there. Not at all crowded plus not under any supersvision of govt authorities so the place is a bit littered by wastes and local guys who preferably use this place for hanging out with smoke and drinks after evening.so if you are with family, i will suggest to leave after sunset. for solo guys it's amazing. visit once and enjoy the serenity.
Its beautiful lake near Kanakapura Road. Not maintained well, but still looks beautiful. Can spend a cool n calm evening here. Usually youths come here. Sad to see garbage and alcohol bottles around the this beautiful lake. Plz do visit this place and don't pollute the environment by throwing plastic/alcohol bottles, cans, garbage, papers etc... We have to save these beautiful places for our next generation.
If you r planning to visit with family, it is better to return as early as possible, like before darkening. I saw some couples have been there, but it is better not to visit in the late evenings. Saw many were having drinks and enjoying their weekend with loud speakers and dances.

I recently visited Agara View Point Lake near Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru during the day. It's a very nice place with stunning views. The tranquil surroundings and the proximity to the ashram make it a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for a serene getaway!

Two wheeler or Cycling is better to go.. Not a place where you need to go to a particular place only.. If you are travelling on Kanakapura road or Mysore road you can take deviation to go through the route. If you want spend time with sunset you can visit here.. Nice place two wheeler no problem for parking.. Many beer bottles surrounding the lake, Might be locals.. Don't go alone. Please maintain cleanliness.. Best for sunrise instead of sunset.. I went in the evening..
