We had a great stay at Afonso guest house. It's a beautiful home in the center of Fontainhas, perfect to walk around the neighborhood. The roof terrace is very relaxing. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. They arranged us a taxi from the airport and everything went perfectly. Totally recommend it.

The rooms are really great and the location is absolutely lovely. They do have some strict rules to maintain their heritage and cleanliness but this is definitely worth the stay. If you're visiting Panjim, this place is highly recommended. 10/10 loved it. (The owner was really sweet)

A beautiful quaint little place. The rooftop terrace with the plants is just too beautiful. Clean, very Goan-Portuguese decor and reasonably priced. Love the surrounding area too. Will come again for sure. Mrs Jeanette is a charming and sweet woman who runs the place splendidly.

I stayed at Afonso Guesthouse in the heart of Fontainhas, Goa, for a two-month internship in Panjim, and it truly became a home away from home. The guesthouse is immaculate, and what stood out to me the most was the charming terrace garden- my favorite spot for meals, reading, and even work. Mrs. Afonso, Clifton, and Kaveri didi were incredibly helpful and always there for me. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable. The house itself is stunning, well-maintained, and exudes a welcoming atmosphere. Exploring Fontainhas at night is truly beautiful- the area is simply beautiful. I also developed a soft spot for their adorable cats and dogs; they add to the overall charm of the place. The mini garden in the front and the terrace garden are adorned with beautiful plant. If you're looking for a delightful and comfortable stay in Goa, close your eyes and this place is truly heaven

I had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite heritage guest house at Fontainhas and I couldn't resist sharing my utmost appreciation for the experience. warm hospitality, along with the remarkable cleanliness and maintenance of the building, truly made my stay unforgettable. One aspect that stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness of the guest house. The entire place was spotless, radiating a sense of freshness and tranquility. It's evident that hold a high standard when it comes to cleanliness, and it greatly contributed to the overall comfort.

I and my friend had a nice stay experience Afonso guest house which is located in the heart of fountainhas area which is a UNESCO heritage site !! The location of this place is fantastic with a lot of good cafes around to explore and relish the Goan /Portuguese cuisine and architecture in the area . The guest house also has beautiful pleasing decor with lot of greenery within and around . The owners Jeanette and Clifton are very warm ,very helpful .another advantage of this location is for those who have to go to VFS centre for visa application ,this place is at walking distance from VFS centre !! I recommend to visit and enjoy stay at Afonso guest house during your visit to Panjim !!

Let me start off with saying that Afonso guest house made me fall in love with Panjim. I have been to goa several times but Panjim would never be on my itinerary. It was this time because I was taking part in the Ironman triathlon being held in the town. The guest house in perfectly located in the heart on the town, and gives an extremely positive feeling right from the moment you enter the place. The hosts are incredible and give amazing recommendations for local eateries. The place is extremely well maintained and had the old Goa charm. The roof top and outdoor garden shows the amount of love that goes into taking care of such a place. Overall an very pleasant stay and I would love to visit Panjim again and stay here. The place really makes you feel at home :)
